Back in July, Vega's Tree Service came to trim some massively overgrown large trees on our property. Not only did they work quickly and cleanly but they did a great job shaping the trees to look aesthetically pleasing. Now that the trees have been through a few big storms, I can confidently say that they are holding up beautifully- no more broken limbs (as has happened in the last few storms before Vega came in to trim them).

Great job--Jose was fast to respond and provide an estimate, which was super reasonably priced for pruning several trees, well below other estimates. Was able to schedule the work quickly, and brought in a crew of workers who were efficient, got it done fast, and left things clean afterward. I am recommending to my neighbors and will definitely use them in the future.

They were the only tree service that responded to my email requests. I'd had tree removals done in the past, so the quote was pretty much what I expected. It was 450 to remove a 15 foot tall holly tree with a 2 foot diameter. They showed up a little early and were done in an hour. Jose Vega was very nice, his assistant in the office was responsive to email and his workers were careful around the rest of the landscaping.
So, three guys, a big truck, a big chipper, some exciting aerial work by Mr. Vega and they were done in an hour.

Jose and his team were great! He came out as planned for an estimate and the next day he showed up with his team and removed a large (dead) tree in a short time and left my yard cleaner than it was before they came.Highly recommend them.Tree removal as a service is not cheap but they were reasonable in their pricing.

Overall very happy with the end product and it was such an easy process. Someone came out to check out the project... that night we had a very reasonable quote in our inbox. We had a date penciled in within a few days. They came and cut one large tree down, trimmed another large tree and took out a bunch of stumps... all while I was at work. Again, it was easy, neighbors said they were efficient and quick, and they did exactly what we wanted! Overall would highly recommend!

Did a great job removing a huge leaning yucca tree, 3 smaller yuccas, and stump grinding them out manually since it was so close to a retaining wall and even gas line. Took them about two hours and it looks like they weren't even there. I got quotes from 3 other ppl and they came in the lowest by $500!

This is a long overdue review. I have many mature trees on my property and a "tree guy" who passes through from time to time with advice on how to manage them. I knew he recommended keeping them trimmed, each species with its own set of rules. I needed topping and/or trimming for my three very big Southern Magnolias, three unruly olive trees, and a mature, treasured Coast Live Oak. I called Vega's based on the good Yelp reviews, and long story short, the next time my "tree guy" paid a visit, I got an A+. So I pass that on to Vega's.

This is the second time that Vega's Tree Service has come out to take down trees on our property. The first time they did great job, and this time around they did as well. They're definitely our tree company now.
The first job was the removal of several Italian cypresses and grinding out palm tree stumps. This time we had them remove a fig tree that was too close to our home and two vine stumps that kept sprouting new vines (we had tried to remove the vine stumps but they were beasts). They were on time, friendly, professional, and made quick work of the job.

Jose and his crew did a beautiful job trimming our priceless cypress tree, a focal point of our back yard, along with a Japanese maple and a couple of fruit trees.
The work was fast, efficient and clean-up was perfect.

Vega's is truly excellent. Came on time for bid with a call to confirm ahead. Bid an excellent price. Squeezed me in earlier because of a safety concern I had with the tree that needed removal. Bid below two other bidders, including one unlicensed guy who I expected to be cheaper. Perfect communication throughout. Patient when I messed up with arranging enough parking for the trucks. Cleaned and removed everything without a scratch. What can I say? A true professional. I hope to run my own business this well.
