When Roger began with Merritt Island Air & Heat it was mainly a residential company and he was tasked to develop the commercial department shortly after his arrival. He had an opportunity in the 80's to purchase the company from the previous owner.
Merritt Island Air & Heat has been proudly serving all of Central Florida since 1971. In 1977, we became a certified dealer for General Electric, who was eventually acquired by Trane. This forged an even stronger product line and partnership for years to come. Merritt Island Air & Heat are my super heroes! Our AC stopped working and with temps soaring close to 100 degrees they worked as fast as they could to get us back up and running and were reasonably priced! Ryan was amazing and explained the issues and how to work with our warranty! Kathy, from the office, kept us informed every step of the way with regards to scheduling and was able to get parts within 2 days! With parts limited and often taking weeks to find, this was amazing!! I highly recommend working Merritt Island Air & Heat!

We had an AC emergency where entire unit needed to be replaced, same week. Merritt Island Air & Heat not only went out of their way to come, inspect and give us a quote the same day (even though they were booked for a week) but did the installation the next day. Crew was professional, on time, cleaned after themselves, simply pleasure to work with.

I needed to completely replace my heating and A/C. Eddie Wylie and the entire team were very thoughtful and professional. They arrived on time or a little early for the in-home quote and install, answered all of my questions, and were careful around my home when performing the installation. Very good value for a great quality system. Highly recommend!

MI AC went above and beyond our expectations to replace a piece of ductwork that had been missed on the initial replacement. Eddie was SUPER responsive to all my questions. The work crew was super friendly and completed work quickly and cleaned up beautifully. I highly recommend this business.

I noticed that my heater and air conditioning fan inside the house stopped working Sunday morning. I called Merritt Island air and heat Monday morning to see about having it serviced. Ryan was at my house within a couple of hours after the phone call. It was extremely fast to have same day service. Ryan diagnosed the problem with the motor in the air handler. He had to order the part from Trane. He returned the next day with the new motor and fixed the problem. Ryan was nice and very professional to work with. I would recommend Ryan and Merritt Island Air and Heat because they have been the best

Ryan just finished replacing EEV valve on new 5 ton Trane system. Ryan was a pleasure to talk too and explain all he was doing. Pulled good vacuum on system for freon fill. System working great now. Thanks Ryan and thanks installers for doing a great job. Would recommend Mer Isl Air & Heat to anyone who needs AC system
