Cool Earth Solar helps people go solar by developing and building solar power plants that are clean, renewable, and good for the planet! We accomplish this in two ways. We install solar at commercial and industrial sites, which are ideally suited for solar given their large energy use and expansive roofs and property.
We also develop large ground mount solar power plants at farms/ranches or for connection to the Utility Grid. In early 2019, the U.S. surpassed 2 million solar system installations. This milestone comes just three years after the industry completed its 1 millionth installation, a feat that took 40 years to accomplish.
Most notably, the industry is projected to hit 4 million installations in 2023, illustrating solar's rapid pace as the fastest-growing energy resource in the world. We provide a full turnkey solar process for our customers.

Services
Cool Earth Solar installed a 196 kW of solar carports at Dublin Executive Center, Dublin, California. Executive office buildings are perfect for solar. Dublin Executive Center will save over $2.7 million over 25 years with their new SunPower solar carports! Furthermore, shaded carports are visually pleasing and provide welcome relief from the hot sun and rainy days!
Automotive repair shops are excellent opportunities to go solar and implement energy efficient lighting. Much of their electric consumption is to provide lighting and intermittent equipment operation. We performed an energy analysis and designed and optimized a balanced solution including a 29 kW solar plant and a lighting retrofit to high efficiency LED.
4Leaf Engineering, a premier engineering and consulting service in the Bay Area, selected Cool Earth to design and construct a 30kW solar system on their headquarters in Pleasanton, CA. We were proud to be selected by a company so well regarded by City and County permit departments all across the Bay Area!
This 92kW solar project at the headquarters of Construction Testing Services included a broad scope of work. The project began with the installation of a brand new "cool roof" - and it not only performs well but it looks great! Furthermore, the building had an undersized main transformer and main service panel, which we replaced along with the construction of the new solar power plant.
We installed a 192 kW solar facility on the roof of this printing and label business. We provided a full turnkey solar solution, which included permitting, design, procurement, and installation. We are also performing the operations and maintenance of this new solar plant for the first 5 years of operations.

I consult to various residential clients about solar energy. I have had 3 residents of my neighborhood install Sunpower with Cool Earth Solar and had only positive comments back. Sunpower has the best product on the market and the best guarantee. I always recommend that my clients consider Sunpower first, with an install by Cool Earth.

We own a house in Livermore where Cool Earth installed a 12.24Kwh solar array. We had issues with excessive tree shading on our roof but have a large lot. They where able to engineer a ground mount array that was very competitive with the roof mount estimates from other companies. The system went in without a hitch and has been operating for three years.
The team that came out to perform the install were very professional and did a great job. I especially want to thank Rob Lamkin (owner) for personally designing the system, working with the city and PG&E, and making sure everything went smoothly
