East Bay Screens provides screen door repair and high quality replacement screens for windows and doors. We are the solution for screen damage caused by wear & tear, drunk friends, nesting birds, and bad ideas. Metal fasteners and springs when needed. If you have an older double hung window, we use proper jiffy clips and bail latches to fasten them.
Modern security products bring an upscale look to a home. With clean designs and clear mesh, windows and door look like they have a simple sun shade cloth on them. I needed a screen re screened. Leslie was super helpful and put in a new screen. He even saw our tabs were broken and added new ones for no charge. He was super kind and more than willing to help. Also, I had called the office to set up the appointment and his wife was so helpful too. She helped me find someone for another project (non window related) that we needed help with in the house.

Leslie and his team are great! The communication, the workmanship, and the product are all great! The pricing is honest and transparent, Leslie explained the product very well, and arrived on time to install, and has been friendly the whole time. Leslie and his team are excellent to work with - quick responses, good communication, and great product. I needed 3 screens made for 3 double hung windows. $65 per screen and installation for all was $40. Their quote was much less than other vendors I contacted. Leslie came and measured on Monday and 6 business days later, he came and installed in less than 30 minutes. Good quality, quick install, and Leslie even helped me put back another window screen that fell off during the rain!

Okay So I don't know if my review counts since I actually didn't even get a screen from these guys, but wanted to. I contacted East Bay Screens all the way back in June because I wanted a full screen door for my front door, and possible triple screen for a large california room. They responded within the week and Leslie came out to do estimates. We went over styles, what we wanted and he did measurements. He let us know it will take time to order and such, which is fine. Buttttt, that was it. I didn't get a single response after the measurements. No quotes, no calls, no emails. We

We had Leslie from East Bay Screens come out and repair our retractable screen. Leslie was so professional and pleasant to us and was very quick to determine what he needed to repair and quote us. Two days later he came and quickly repaired out screen and fixed extra stuff that he didn't have to. I highly recommend East Bay Screens to everyone. We asked him to put up a sticker on our screen so that our dogs can see it and not walk through out screen. He made his own...we really like it.

Leslie is often available to swing by, is friendly and helpful, offering newer screen technologies that don't corrode ( a problem with my old screens). Leslie Shafer (and wife Jackie, who answers the phone) of East Bay Screens were a pleasure to work with, every step of the way-- on both occasions that we used them.
Our most recent project involved making two dozen solar screens, including frames. Leslie's quote was $230.00 less than the other guy. He quoted a price for EVERY screen, along with the grand total. (This included an upgraded frame at no additional cost.) The other guy only gave us a total price and then an AVERAGE price per framed screen. Since many of the screens were much smaller in size from the 4 largest screens involved
