So I was pleasantly surprised today (11/15/2021) when I went to Darin's website and those are my floors when the website pulls up. Darin did an amazing job. What struck my wife and I was his knowledge of hardwood floors and the process of restoring them. We purchased a home where the floors had not been touched since they were new sixteen years ago. Darin made them look better than new. He doesn't rush the process and his prices are more than fair. We are looking at putting hardwood floors in the upstairs hallway and Darin is the only person we would trust.

We had some water damages on our dated hardwood floors with deep scratches from pets from the previous owners. Darin was highly recommended by my wife's co-worker and we found out why. Darin did immaculate job. Floors were sanded, patched, and sealed and sanded more and finished with commercial grade finish. The floors looked brand new. My friends who are in construction and remodeling business and who knew about my old floors, complimented and admired Darin's workmanship. He was very knowledgeable and professional. It was a pleasant experience working with him.

Darin did a great job on our floors. It took an extremely long time FOR GOOD REASON: He thoroughly explained some of the problems I was experiencing getting the wood for the floor repairs to acclimate to my house. I ended up getting my crawlspace patched up to prevent some moisture transfer and Darin only started the job when he was SURE it was ready and would cause no problems later down the road. I was very grateful for his knowledge, experience, and expertise to do the job right the first time and explaining the process and challenges to me along the way. Darin did a phenomenal job on our red oak floors. He is knowledgeable, thorough, and provides high-quality results. He revealed some underlying moisture issues that were affecting our floors – ones that would have otherwise likely flown under our radar until a bigger problem ensued. He was patient with us while we resolved the moisture issues and then quickly fit us back into his schedule to replace the affected floorboards and proceed with the rest of the project. It was all well worth the wait – our new floors exceeded our expectations!

Elegant Floors for did a phenomenal job on my floors. After a previous Contractor left my floors a mess, Darin was able to come in a repair the damage. He has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to hardwood flooring. So much so I was able to learn alot about my red oak wood floors. I gained an appreciation for the beauty of the wood and how to properly care for my new floors. I highly recommend Elegant floors.

Our Brazilian Cherry Floors were severally damaged by another floor refinishing contractor in the area, our search to save our floors lead us to the NWFA ( National Wood Flooring Association). The owner, Darin Grimes, appears to be knowledgeable about flooring. However, he expects you to be available at a moment's notice in order to do your work. I had a large flooring job and I couldn't get him to give me any kind of time frame for when he would finish. Finally when I tried to get him to commit to a schedule he canceled the contract, leaving me with a bunch of plywood upstairs that he bought but didn't install.
