Faden builders completed building a dock for me march 2015. They charged me $47,000 for it. I noticed in the last year some instability in the structure. as of 10/11/21 the dock is unsafe to walk as all the middle supporting wood is rotten. I contacted the company and owner Todd Faden who returned my call on 10/13/21, stating there is nothing he will do. He refused to even come look at it. On the phone conversation he added we are full of work for 1 year and we will not be able to do anything about it plus added he will not paying for anything. I was given no options for a resolution. based on

Just had Faden Builders refurbish our dock, and we are very pleased. We bought the house in 2019. As Faden was the original dock builder 15+ years ago, they were the perfect choice for the refresh. Philip came over and gave us an honest estimate and assessment of any cosmetic wear. The dock crew, Steven and Bucky were talented, professional, and truly cared about the quality and craftsmanship of their work. Anything structural that needed to be updated or addressed was identified, estimated, and fixed. Faden was the right company for our project.

We hired Faden Builders to construct a seawall and new boathouse for us in Tavares, FL. We are VERY happy with all aspects of both projects. Todd and his crew are extremely experienced and very professional. Both projects were completed on time and within the budget without any "surprises". When we first decided to build our dock, we contacted four local builders to provide estimates and references. Todd Faden personally came to our home and provided some suggestions. It only took a few days to obtain his proposal, which was very thorough. After selecting Faden Builders, they provided the engineered drawings, did the permitting, and gave us an estimated start date. The entire building process took about three weeks. Faden Builders just completed our new dock and we couldn’t be happier. The building crew, led by Steve, was professional and did a great job. They dismantled our old hurricane-damaged dock and replaced it with a new one within three weeks. Phil, our contact with Faden Builders, kept in contact with us and kept us informed during the entire project. He was a great communicator and very professional. Even though our design was simple, the dock will serve the neighborhood owners well. I highly recommend Faden Builders for your dock needs.

My husband and I have a long and positive relationship with Faden Builders, having employed them for five projects over the past 15 years. Included in their work for us have been two full (down to the studs) house remodels, the construction of a new ground-up addition to our existing residence and two dock/boathouse restorations.
