Services
Alger Plumbing and Heating was established in 1962 by Jim Engels, a Korean war veteran and native of Grand Rapids, MI. Upon his return from the war, he apprenticed in plumbing and acquired his Master Plumber's license. Jim purchased a truck and his tools, and started his own plumbing business. His wife Dee, has answered the phone and dispatched for the company for 50 years.
