If you see Capitol Remodeling, or even thinking calling them "Don't do it" for your own good. The Capital Remodeling regional Marketing Consulting , Cody Magill , came to our house one hour late . Afterward , he gave us an estimate to replace a garage window and a double hung sundeck door ( with a sliding door ). He told us he emailed that estimate to my email address , and left . I am extremely pleased with Capital Remodeling and the work they did to replace the windows in my 40+ year old house. I had several companies out to give me estimates and didn't hesitate to contract with Capital Remodeling after talking with them and getting their estimate. Ridiculous company... just got off a call with Ashley the manager to confirm a free estimate for a whole kitchen remodel for tomorrow. They would not send someone out because the house is empty and there is nowhere for their salesperson to sit.... as she explained the salesperson would be there for hours and hours....That is plain ridiculous! First of all, I have had other companies who came and gave me quotes just fine while standing or leaning... and two, if it is that important to have your salesperson sit at all times have them keep a folding chair in their car. Originally this company called me. Said I was busy and to call me back at 6:30 p.m. that night. They called me a week later. What infuriates me about the whole process is that they tell you that a spouse has to be available in order for them to do an estimate- talk about antiquated. They then ask you if you have contacted other companies for quotes for the same service. They never send over a confirmation email or text message, and they call you from a robo call number. They refused to send a representative to give me an estimate on replacing 17 windows, 2 sliding doors and a front door because I was currently renting my home out to someone while the Army had me deployed away. This practice makes me think that they use high pressure sales tactics that are only used in-person and they cannot make a sale unless the homeowner is physically present.
Stay away from this company for this simple fact. It is sketchy and shady to treat a deployed combat veteran this way.
Shame on them as I know that Window World and Window Nation in NOVA are giving me free estimates

I received a flyer for Capital Remodeling Inc. and the first red flag was the advertising gimmick of 7 windows for $525. Being a long time homeowner I knew that to be misleading and clarified before my consultation. I met with sales-person Mark who came to my home with a hour long presentation. Out of courtesy and respect, I let him continue his long winded demonstration. At the end, he informed me that replacing 4 windows would be $5779 (ridiculous) but can give me an offer for a little over $4k today. I was then told that negotiations could begin. This sales tactic is dated

They never made it for even am estimate. If your not married or have a man in your life... Forget about them coming out to give you an estimate. They won't! They INSIST on your other half being there. So if your man is overseas, not around, an essential worker don't bother to call them. Ashley, who is the manager, stated the company has a policy that your other half, boyfriend, girlfriend, spouse must be there. My husband and I went to the Home and Garden show in Timonium this weekend. We spoke with the representative about a Kitchen remodel. They scheduled us for Monday. However, they called us today as others had stated and wanted to confirm both of us would be there for the appointment. I told them my husband specifically stated it would only be my wife. I just called this company to schedule an appointment for window estimate. After a bunch of questions, I told them that I am the sole owner of my house and have been for 13 years. They asked me for my marital status and when I told them I was married they basically stated that they would not come unless my husband is not there.
I find it discriminatory and offensive that they should even require to know my marital status, let alone demanding that a non-owner of the property be present.
This company violated my rights and insulted me in the process.

ABSOLUTE TRASH. I had set up an appointment to get my kitchen remodeled by this company. It was scheduled about a week out from when I initially called. In the meantime, I shopped around and ended up going a different route. So, doing the right thing, I called them in a timely manner to let them know that I no longer needed their services.
About two days later (today), I received a phone call from one of their associates (he said he left his name on my voicemail, but he did not, or else I would be blasting it on this review). He was calling to confirm my appointment which I had already cancelled

I have had two completely different experiences with Capital Remodeling. The good experience was for window replacement. After buying a townhouse we had Capital replace 10 windows. They quoted the price, did the whole run around on discounts and random price reductions until we finally agreed. Bottom lline: the windows were installed earlier than expected, and all work was done in one day. Four year later, the windows are all in great shape.
Now the bad. We recontacted them to get our front door replaced. Once again, they did all the run around for price. They offer to make you a 'model
