We have a home warranty which means that we're at the mercy of that company's choice of contractor when something goes wrong. We've experienced a couple of contractors who weren't great... that simply was not the case with Air First. Don is incredibly kind and wants to do right by their customers. Our installer, Skyler, went above and beyond to make sure that we had the right unit when he realized that the unit he originally brought to install wasn't optimal so he got the right one and came back the next day. We appreciate these guys very much!

I was need to install new furnace. Don Rohde with AFM was resposive on all my questions and gave me fair price for furnace with installation. Skyler Johnson did great work with installation, was careful and cleaned everything after work. It was nice to have business with them. Thank you guys.

I was assigned this company via my insurance company AHS. I was really impressed with how quickly they came by to help solve the issue with my furnace. They were very professional and fixed the issue right away.

They were sent to my house for a home waranty
They found the issue , there compressor shorted out , the est they gave my home waranty company was with almost a $600.00 add on that washer needed : they thought they can scam me like they do everyone else . They didn't known I also do hvac work .
They wanted to charge me $85.00 a pound for up to seven pounds of r410 refrigerant . It wasn't needed to change refrigerant on a electrical burn out . Second it cost them an average of $250.00 for 25 pounds of r410. There mark up was 800% for something not needed

Don with AFM Inc was highly professional, technically proficient, sociable, and expeditious in both arrival, assessment of the problem, and repair.
With over 25 years of experience in the HVAC field, I wasn't surprised how quickly Don was able to both easily identify and troubleshoot the problem, but provide in-depth information on upgrading the system (AC Unit), relay the issue in layman's terms to myself, and confer how the entire system interoperates.
As my first experience with AFM, I am extremely satisfied with my experience and definitely recommend the company to others for quick repair

Anthony was extremely rude and unprofessional had an attitude since i opened the door and looked upset. Maybe its about working saturday. I would never allow him in my property again i will never call this company again . IF YOU HATE YOUR JOB ANTHONY QUIT NOBODY NEEDS YOUR ATTITUDE . Air First Mechanical did a fantastic job repairing my furnace. They scheduled me immediately and Anthony the technician was at my door a short time later. He was professional, courteous and efficient. He quickly diagnosed the problem and had my furnace up and running in no time. I couldn't be happier with the service I received!

Brendan was the name of the tech. Don was the name of the dispatcher. This company Fixed up an old furnace beautifully. It is so rare to have good service and knowledgeable people. I don't leave reviews but these people are exceptional. Highly recommended!

I was forced to use them through my American Home Shield warranty. They do not answer there phones so we were out of heat for 2 days. The technician showed up to tell me he was high from the carbon monoxide that hit him in the face when he opened it up and that they did not work on high end 90% furnaces and left. They then closed my service request as if they had fixed the problem but will not answer phones again to verify with warranty company so they can get paid. I am on day 3 in 39 degree weather with kids and a dog freezing. I had to go purchase more heaters and CO2 detectors to make sure

The company was selected by AHS to fix a my AC. The young man Anthony came and fixed the leak. He was very professional and pleasant! Anthony advised me to watch for leaking for the nxt 2wks and call bk if any issues. Its been almost a month and no issues. Thank you Anthony.

Had a new furnace put in a year and a half ago. Just called to ask a question. The main dude who answers the phone is always super helpful, thorough, and honest. These guys did great work back when they put the furnace in and worked well with my home warranty company. Good stuff. Highly recommend.

Our Gas Furnace stops distribute the heat while the gas and igniter comes on and then the fire flow shuts off for safety cautions.
We had to call Air First Mechanical Inc (AFM) through our American Home Shield contract.
Don was pleasant for our call and did tell us he has a tech to be in our house today (01/03/2010) within a two hours window and the tech arrives on time.
I had to ask his name after a while being in the house and had to drag and kind of force him to communicate regarding the problem of the furnace. His, Anthony's, personality is way off customer service and that is one thing

Let me just say that this is our second experience with Air First and we are so pleased with their service I decided to take the time to rate them. Our home warranty company sent them...once in the dead of winter and now in the heat of summer. Both times the response/service calls were without delay. Both times the problem was quickly diagnosed and fixed..they always had the needed parts too which is a new experience for us. We can't say enough about them....we highly recommend them!

AFM came out to repair my furnace. I have a home warranty so it was a service request through 2-10 home warranty. Shaun was the technician. He was knowledgeable and friendly. He diagnosed and repaired the furnace quickly. This is the second time this company has been out to my house for repairs and I'm very satisfied with the quality of service and professionalism. I also spoke to Don on the phone to set up appointment and he was very helpful also. I will recommend this company to friends and family!

We have had two very bad experiences with the same guy regarding the same issue, which he did not fix. He was young and not confident at all. Every question I asked him I felt he didn't know the answer so he guessed or made up something which I could see right through. Did not engage people well at all. I would have given this company a zero, if when asked not to send the same person but one with more senior experience, they didn't respond. But they did. Not only did they send someone who could diagnose the problem immediately and took care of it, Shaun was professional and smart

Absolutely horrible service. I was getting my air conditioner service by them. The person who is not professional I might add... Told me I needed to use a different filter... The one I use gets 5 stars on Amazon. He then told my home warranty service that he did extra work so he could get money out of them too. Skip these guys, I am having someone service my air conditioner shortly

When I called them with my problem, they were there inspecting the issue within a few hours. It wasn't urgent, so I was really impressed with the care they took.

I was able to speak directly to the owner, and he really took the time to help me understand the situation with my furnace.

The technician who installed it was polite and efficient. I came home to a basement that was cleaner than I left it. I really like my new furnace. Would highly recommend these folks.

American Home Shield sent AFM out to us when we reported an issue with our air conditioner. The tech Shaun was here for very minimal time, and didn't do much to assist with our air not working. He was pleasant at first, but became rude very shortly into his visit, acting like I'm a waste of his time. We have just had a horrific experience with Air First Mechanical. They came to check out our furnace via our American Home Shield Warranty.

The technician was completely incompetent and was inside for 15 minutes before assessing the issue as a roof leak, which is was not. He wrote "The roof appears to be leaking" on the invoice and collected his $125 service fee.

We requested a second opinion via American Home Shield and they sent a much better company - Comfort Zone Heating and A/C - who sent a senior technician, ran diagnostics on our furnace, and diagnosed the problem.

Contacted AFM for a furnace and AC system maintenance, excellent service! They replaced a worn out run capacitor on my furnace blower for a reasonable price. They showed up early on their appointment time window, and were professional and corteous. Highly recommended!

During the course of selling my house I had "Comfort Air" out to clean and inspect
My 4yr old Lennox furnace., which they had installed. The repairman noticed that
a side cover had popped out and rusted the duct next to the furnace. He claimed that carbon monoxide was leaking into the house and that my furnace needed to be replaced! The next Day I was informed that Lennox would only cover $1,000 of a new furnace and I would have to cover the remaining $1,600 due to no maintenance being done during The 4yrs. This sounded suspicious to me since just a week before a home inspector And FHA

I found out about AFM from the sticker on my furnace. They've done about 4 routine cleanings on my HVAC system. When my AC stopped working, I called them and they said I needed a new AC.

Their installation crew were nice people and quiet as they could probably be doing the AC work. Plus, they were punctual and arrived on the early half of their 1 hour arrival window. When problems (not caused by them) were found with the AC lines, they were happy to come out again when the siding contractor could check the lines with them. They finished the job and the AC was fantastic.
