Just had Insulation Gurus put new blown-in cellulose insulation in my attic (all the old insulation had been removed months earlier by another company so new HVAC ducting could be installed up there). Jacob was very helpful and responsive in preparing the quote and answering questions. And Brian and his crew did a friendly thorough job with the actual insulation (vacuuming beforehand, air-sealing cracks, baffling soffit vents, and getting the new cellulose layer nice & even).

The team that came to our place for insulation installation were nice. There were members who worked quickly to get it completed fast. However, there were a lot of miscommunication between the first person who gave the quote/crew/management. I was told a lot of extras to be done, which were not discussed with the crew members, there was definitely overselling to earn my business. I was also supposed to get the HVAC service the same day, but they never showed up and this was not communicated until the day of the insulation work. There was also some drama with the payment etc. Overall, I recommend

Decided to not move forward with this company due to their ambiguous pricing and methods of determining a quote. I found the company through an ad that offered a 10 % off coupon for their services. After my husband and I presented the coupon, they responded with something along the lines of "that ad has been running since February" and "the prices were already discounted". We needed insulation for our garage and I found Insulation Guru on Yelp because of many positive reviews. They responded quickly and Jacob came to our house to provide a free consultation within a few days. The price is very reasonable and moreover the work done is excellent. My garage used to be an oven in the summer (90+F) now it is nice (ambjent). Finally I can enjoy my garage.. Definitely considering insulating our attic with Insulation Guru in the near future!

At first, we had Luther to stop by our place for evaluation and quotation. He is very knowledgeable and patient. He explained all options we had.
Jose and Leo came out and did a great job to complete the entire three days work, from demolition to installation. We now have a brand new high efficiency heating system.
Later on, they also did fine tuning for the furnace and ducts to optimize the efficiency and to reduce any possible noise, thank you again to Jose and Gerrit!

In the process of taking quotes from 3 vendors I asked these guys to give me a quote as well. They said they do not take care of the rebates - it was going to be the customer's job to do that. fair enough. Then they give me a quote that is double of their nearest competitor!!!
I said Thanks but no thanks and went with another insulator who was cheaper and also filed for the rebate on my behalf.

The Gurus installed a Cassette Mini Split HVAC at my home. Simon was very knowledgeable and professional with the Job estimate & planning. He always kept in touch and gave an outstanding price. The installation crew was on time and finished the work within one day, gracefully overcoming all hurdles and obstacles. Our experience for getting a quote was not great. Got handwritten total cost numbers during scheduled visit on a paper, no email quote. Even after reaching to front office, no email quote is received.

We've had a few interactions with Insulation Gurus now, and everything was efficient from the first phone call to the inspection/quote to the actual implementation of the work. We moved into an older home that had old / sparse insulation, old ducts, and a lot of leftover rodent droppings.

From initial email sent for some information all the way though to job completion, I was completely satisfied. Office staff was polite and courteous; quick to respond to my initial email (within 24hrs). Ron was the consultant that came out to educate my wife and I and bid the job. While in our home, Ron identified some issues with our HVAC and literally fixed them on the spot (this was all prior to talking about insulation). No pressure. GREAT price. Bid accepted onsite.
