Hutchison Pools is a family-owned and operated business serving pool and spa owners in the North & Northwest Houston communities for more than 30 years. Our technicians have been in the swimming pool service and repair industry for over 15 years. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of services ranging from equipment repairs to remodeling and we are a recognized warranty service center for Pentair and Jandy equipment manufacturers.
Pool repairs are a fact of life for pool owners. At Hutchison Pool Services, we strive to complete any pool services or pool repairs in a timely manner, while using the highest quality parts and tools available. We carry a complete stock of replacement parts ensuring that the downtime of your pool is kept to a minimum.
Pool pumps are the work horse of the filtration system of any pool. A pool pump consists of two main parts: the pump housing and the motor. Today's pumps are traditional single speed pumps, two speed pumps or variable speed pumps. A two- speed pump spends most of the time operating at a lower horsepower, and then is switched into the higher speed when needed to power the spa jets or perhaps the pool cleaner.
It's normal for your Houston swimming pool water level to fluctuate. Evaporation, backwashing your filter can all contribute to water loss. But if you find your water line going down two inches or more in a week, you probably have a swimming pool leak. Detection and repair should be carried out quickly to avoid costly damage to the pool shell and surrounding structures.

I had a problem with my jacuzzi jets and Andrea (the owner) took time out of her day to research it and present me with options. And she did this before I had even committed to any work being done. She really stepped up and helped me when she didn't have to.
Additionally, I had Hutchison come out a few years ago to install a new pool pump and Zodiak control system. Haven't had a single problem.
These guys are good.

Hutchinson pools treats you like they would their own family - they are extremely responsive, attentive, reliable and provide exemplary customer service.
I first used their service after the arctic blast in Houston. Although they were inundated w customers, they worked around the clock to get us all back up and running in record time…. I was extremely thankful for their diligence during that stressful time.
The second call came when my DE filter housing cracked leaving me to shut off my system in the hot August weather. They answered the call on a Saturday, started searching for parts immediately

Our pool took a hit during the freeze this past year and we weren’t sure what to do. Andrea and her crew at Hutchinson Pools were very responsive to our concerns and worked as fast as they could to get our pool up and running. She even came out to the the house personally to see what kind of issues we were dealing with. We have worked with a couple of their techs, talked with Shirley in the office several times and they are personable and professional. Great weekly pool service and maintenance by Michael. However, when it came time to cancelling our service (our son has taken over) they were very difficult to work with. I was suppose to receive a refund and still haven't seen it a month later.
Edit - Mr Sutton (owner) reached out to me and sincerely apologized for my experience. He has gone above what I would have ever expected to make things right. It is great to know that there are still business owners that truly do care about their customers and strive for 5.
I will be sure that if I have any pool needs in the future, I will most definitely

I moved out of state and contracted these guys to take care of my pool. I left them with crystal, clear water. After 2 weeks they let it go cloudy and the walls are green with algae. They charged me for 2 months work within 2 weeks of starting service. I told them how many chlorine tabs they needed to use to keep the water clear and algae free, but Andrea emailed me to tell me how much more she knows about pools than I know about my own. We contacted Hutchinson Pool Repair after receiving a recommendation from a colleague. We discussed our pool remodel with the owner and believed that he would do an amazing job, He came recommended seemed most knowledgeable so we signed a contract to move forward. At the time we were unaware that he would not be doing any of the work we paid more believing Hutchinson was doing the work, it was subcontracted to a pool remodeling company, fine but then we expected to have Doug manage, communicate and have complete oversight of the job.
