Called CP Mechanical for my A/C which was not cooling. I was very happy with the visit - they were able to come out quickly (within 2 days), Anastasio was very respectful of my home, wore boot covers, wore a mask properly, got to work quickly, diagnosed the issue quickly, had the needed parts on his truck, and was generally very knowledgeable. He was also friendly and had other helpful advice about my system.
I was thrilled that we had working A/C that same day. I would recommend this business and use them again.

Initial scheduling took more than a month to get proper response. Once Chris got involved it was smooth sail - regular updates. Brad and Greg did a phenomenal job and were so quick to wrap work. Impressive how they managed to install that heating unit up given the space and layout. Every project has hiccups but everyone was professional and courteous to help us get the much needed heat this winter.

Hi, We met Chris From CPmechanic2 years ago as he installed a new heater for us. His team did a great job at that time. Chris was super supportive and helped us very much, explaining all the options with the technical details and costs.
Now we contacted him again to get some education about how to use the heater best in this times with very bad air pollution.
Chris had recommended already 2 years ago a filter, that we at that time didn’t take because it was expansive. Now having a baby and this bad air pollution we decided to go for it. Chris did everything possible to help us super fast.

Bait and Switch!!
- Service request: Low airflow for the furthest branch duct.
- Recommendation: New HVAC System ($9-$11K) plus rodent and asbestos abatement!!! Yikes!! ;-(
See the pictures and judge for yourself! It's like going to an emergency room complaining about cold hands and they recommend heart surgery.
My Tenant was complaining about a low hot airflow to the furthest ducting run. To complicate matters was that they had thought the low airflow was caused by rodents damage (possible leaking duct).

A huge Thank You to Chris, CPMechanical owner, for getting my mom's ancient furnace rebuilt and running again.
Service tech, Anastacio, was accurate in diagnosing the problems and clearly explained the options for repair or replacement.
Chris took great care in sourcing and ordering the correct parts. When he learned my mom is in her 80's, with no heat in the heart of winter, he kindly paid for the expedited shipping himself.
At the time of repair, Anastacio, finished the job on time and then took the time to show my mom where the shut valves were and how to use them in an emergency.

I contacted them as they are a in the dealer network for my air conditioning unit- Bryant. Tech came out and immediately diagnosed the problem. Pump issue. Took it out and said they would order the part and get in contact with me. Left with the part. 30 mins and $190. 30 days and no contact from them. Called and the parts are arriving tomorrow magically! Didn't get authorization for the part, provide me a quote or anything. I found the part online at Amazon, Home Depot etc.
Update: Their pump charge to me is $150 plus tax- $50 on Amazon Prime- delivered. Assume it would have been

I can't say enough good things about Chris Paul, the owner of Bayside Heating and AC and his team. I contacted Chris about replacing our old furnace and performing an AC retrofit in our townhome. The project was not a simple task as it required planning the retrofit, bringing our old systems up code AND seeking approval from no less than two HOAs. Had 3 well known companies come out and discuss full house vs room options for my two story home. Chris from Bayside was the most knowledgable and discussed considerations that the others never mentioned. He was not the low bidder but worked with me to get a full-house system that I could afford. Bayside was right on time for all appointments. His crew was clean, fast, and the job looked great. I've been using the system for about a month and it is better than expected. I'm glad that I did not go for the low bid because it was cheaper. Getting it done right the first time is really worth

Our outside compressor stopped working during a heat spell. I called Bayside at about 4pm, and Ricardo had our unit working again by 5:15pm. Ricardo was friendly, seemed very knowledgeable and got the work done quickly and professionally. He recommended ways we could improve the efficiency of our setup, most of which were simple, cheap things that I can do myself. I couldn't recommend Bayside more.

Chris, the owner, saw my original review and immediately updated the company's web site so it correctly shows the company's service area. While my experience still happened, I have to give them credit for hearing about the problem and moving quickly to stop it from happening to anyone else. A lot of companies would just write a combative response and not fix the actual problem.

I really wanted to rate Bayside higher as both people who came out (Eric to fix AC and Jim to give a quote to replace AC) seemed like nice guys. The work was somewhat disappointing, however. Eric charged two hours plus material (total of about 450) to identify the problem (he also spent time looking at the other two ACs) and to replace a broken capacitor. I paid without complaint but the AC stopped working after one day. Later on, I was told by another contractor that the capacitor Eric put in was of the wrong kind (the other contractor didn't know the capacitor was recently replaced by

I cannot say enough good things about Bayside and Chris in particular. The radiant heart in my condo had died and space heaters we just not keeping it warm enough everywhere. I called Bayside for a recommendation; Chris immediately suggested a Mitsubishi ductless split system. He looked over the condo and figured out the best locations for both outdoor and indoor units. I had to then go to the HOA for approval; Chris even came to the board meeting to answer questions. He was great!

The whole time he worked like a perfectionist - tidying up as he went. He was forthcoming and honest with the problem and I feel utterly comfortable providing a reference for his services!
Best part was that he has a PayPal account to take care of invoices on the spot.
