I have with this company since 2013. After changing ownership a few year ago, the company used inexperienced person to maintain my pool. They messed so much we only used the pool twice this year. I paid multiple times for replacing damaged DE filter in the past few years. I was really fed up with paying so much money to them and unable to use the pool. Today, they informed me they forgot to clean the DE filter during closing the pool a month ago. It is totally unacceptable! I will never use this company again!

Byrd Pool Service did our pool inspection when we bought our house so we decided to have them help us by having them come out and give us a "class" about how to maintain our pool. The pool had turned green by the time they came out because they took a while to return our call and then other few days to get us on the schedule. The gentleman who showed up was not a very good teacher. He went through everything so fast and gave us incorrect instructions on how to get our pool cleared up. He also seemed irritated that he had to come and help us. We gave it 2 days because that's what he told us to do

Service has always been great and reliable from Byrd. Matt has visited a few times this spring to help us with some aging equipment. He keeps in touch about repair plans. He's in and out quickly, and makes solid recommendations for replacing/updating filter gear as needed. I know that when Byrd stops by, the job will done well and worry free.

Byrd has been taking care of our pool for a while now. Very pleased with the "twice-a-week" service - pool always looks great. Most recently, we relied heavily on Byrd during the recent, record, two week cold spell. Our normal service provider, Antwon, showed up on a regular basis (every other day) to check the pool through the cold spell. He was responsive every time we texted him and came out to check on the pool motor which was on its last leg. The motor finally gave out on a Saturday as the weather was getting better and the technician, Matt, showed up that same morning to drain the equipment

Paid Byrd to close pool for the winter and maintain the chemicals. They were scheduled to open the pool this Monday but they didn’t make it until Tuesday. Guys that opened the pool were nice and professional (the reason I didn’t give them 1 star) they told me that I really should have maintained the chemicals over the winter and that my pool was a mess. I laughed as I told the guy that I actually paid Byrd to do that and was billed every month for the service. He was in disbelief and said he had to call the office to confirm. Fast forward to today, Sunday 6 days since they opened the pool.

Lack BIG TIME on communication. A tech even had the audacity to tell me that I didn't tell him something when we had a full blown conversation about it. Instead of making the situation right and coming back to do what I asked of (not to mention after many "reachedules" they didn't show up for) he just fought back half the reason they were there for. Just once of many instances but this one confirmed the lower price offer just isn't worth the headache what so ever.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They sold us on just cleaning the liner instead of replacing it like the other companies said we should do. They promised they would go $200 into cleaning the liner to determine if the pool would hold water and if it wouldn't, they would replace it. After 2-1/2 months they turned over a pool that didn't hold water and still looked awful. This kept us from putting the house on the market during selling season and a pool that didn't pass FHA inspections. So we still had to buy a $4000 new liner after paying them $2000 . Charlie wouldn't return calls or texts. He was very

We are brand new pool owners. I had called Byrd on a recommendation from a home inspector, but later discovered they already service 7 pools in our neighborhood. Matt came out promptly and did a complete diagnostic service for us, as well as trained us on all of the equipment. Not once did he try to up sell us. He was friendly and knowledgeable. Give Byrd a call!
