I spoke with Kyle about a small project early this morning, sent him photos and got an estimate. Andrew showed up as scheduled, three hours later. He was courteous, neat and took care of the problem quickly. Dorenbos Plumbing actually charged less then the estimate.
They came highly recommended by two condo owners in my building and I have already given my son their name and phone number. I highly recommend Dorenbos Plumbing.

Dorenbos Plumbing Co has come out to our building a few times and I have been totally pleased every time! They are very knowledgable, very thorough, friendly, and reasonably priced. Plumbing issues can be a total nightmare and make a homeowner feel paniced when things go wrong. Kyle and his team are great at putting your mind at ease and I've never had to wait long for them to make a house call, they've come within a few hours of my call every time. They are my number one go to for our plumbing needs.

Had these guys out to my house to rod the downstairs toilet. 5 weeks later the pipe was clogged again. They came out with a camera to determine why my pipes were so jammed up. They diagnosed the problem and scheduled a day to come out and put in a new section of 6" pipe and clean out. They wrapped up in less than a day and under budget. Top notch plumbers and all around nice guys.

I had a 2in PVC vent stack pipe that was cracked in the basement leaking on the floor. Bigger problem was the PVC was supporting cast iron through the rest of the house so it need to be reinforce with cast iron as well.. Dornbros called me the morning after I left a message and came out take a look. At first I thought it was a one man job and balked a little 120/hr for 2 plumbers but in the long run it is the best route to go with these guys...smaller jobs they will do $80/ one guy I think.... Having used them at work, I called asking if they could come for a clogged tub at home that seemed to be beyond the basic clog remedies. Not only did Andrew give me over the phone advice first, but he quoted me a price over the phone which was what we actually paid to have the job done.
As usual, friendly, professional, efficient and fair. I'd recommend them anytime!

I've used different plumbing outfits over the years and they all varied in ability, quality and professionalism. I had a laundry tub that was clogged and had a few different plumbers come out to unclog it with various results. Not one of these plumbers was able to keep it unclogged for more than a month. I checked Yelp* and saw all the positive reviews for Dorenbos Plumbing and decided to give them a try. Bob showed up for the appointment and solved the problem immediatley! It has never clogged again!

Used them 2x so far on 2 separate occasions on an apt building I own for various tasks like installing kitchen sink, fixing leaks in sink, faucets, shower diverter issues etc.. They are easy to work with as far as scheduling, nice on the phone and the plumbers are fast and pleasant to deal with. The kind of guys I'd have no issue in the future leaving them a key to "just take care of it" . Highly recommend. And guys - keep up the good work!!

Yelp to the rescue again! Andrew had to do a solo trip all the way to the northern suburbs to fix our cracked pipe located in our flooded crawl space. On a 90 degree day, after battling traffic...and yet still was professional AND personable! He replaced our outside water line and ran new pipe through the crawl space and I was able to water my lawn an hour later. Oh, and the cost was exceptionally reasonable---$80 per hour for 1 plumber, $120 for 2 plumbers and these guys are EFFICIENT, so an hour or two of work is an incredible amount of time to complete most small to medium sized jobs. ZERO Reliability. After having taken the day off work, I had scheduled an Appt for a Friday morning, and was assured I would be the 2nd appt of the day (9:30 AM).
When I called at noon to determine the status, they acted as if we never had spoken/they forgot. Given I had arranged the appt just 1/2 day earlier, I was dumbfounded. Needless to say this was a lost opportunity for them, as well as lost future recommendations to others.

Kyle, Andrew and Bob are the best...complete w/ plumber's overalls..I found them here on Yelp. I was looking for someone trustworthy to hook up a corner sink and address a negative flow. I spoke w/ Kyle who was prompt, professional and polite..a fella who leads by example b/c his whole crew has the same approach.

Bob was terrific in proposing a terrific solution to what I thought was a rodding issue for a bathroom sink. Turns out - it was mis-piped - bad configuration. He changed out the piping and charged a very reasonable price. Terrific service and great help. It is a small shop, so they couldn't accomodate the emergency call back for a bath tub issue. But all in all, on a regular scheduled call - great help, great price. TY

Called these guys with a semi-emergency situation--one of our pipes sprang a leak and was dripping down through our neighbor's ceiling.
They called first thing in the morning. Arrived mid-morning, and were done in less than an hour. Plus, as others have written, they were easy-going, honest, professional, and reasonably priced.
I'm a new homeowner, and can be easily overwhelmed (or annoyed) by the hassles of home ownership. After today, I'm pleased to have at least one ally in the home service category.

I'm so thankful to find honest plumbers to count on. They are a small company that are 20 years old and consist of three plumbers, that alone is amazing. I had a small job that needed to be done (installing a kitchen faucet), but trying to find a plumber to come out this time of year, who didn't charge and arm and a leg, proved to be tough. I luckily came across Dorenbos Plumbing after searching for a while on Yelp and Service Magic, and after talking to six other plumbers/plumbing companies.

Dorenbos is a three-man operation: Kyle (head-honcho), Bob (seasoned expert), and Andrew (young rising star). When I first called them, it was a Friday morning, and they actually offered to send someone over that afternoon! I wouldn't be home so I scheduled for Monday morning. What a difference from my condo maintenence person that after three weeks never so much as called me back.

These guys are the most honest plumber in the city! had basement flood call out four different company's all told me I need it a valve & rejection pump average estimate $5500.00 Called Dorembos were out next morning inspected the system and f my drain spouts were connected to the main drain. He also recommended we have our main line roded this was 16 month ago and haven't had a single problem. Oh yeah his bill was $350.00.
