Kapsa Monument Co. is a family owned and operated business located in the downtown area of historic Downers Grove, Illinois. We never use inferior materials, or materials that have not stood up to the test of time. We will do whatever it takes to make the memorial process go smoothly for you. We are always available for in home or office consultations.
Many families wish to honor their loved one with special personal designs, words or perhaps desire a marker style the VA doesn't offer. Well, to our Vets, we want to say Thank You. Therefore, we offer a special 10% discount on any memorial for a Veteran (spouse included). Military emblems are available for all branches.
Below you will find a variety of granite colors. If you do not see a color you want, please contact us for an image and quote. Most granites are called by many different names, so the name you see here may not be the same you saw or heard from somewhere else. If you contact us with a granite name, we can refer you to the correct granite color.

In the last 5 years my family has been devastated by 2 unexpected deaths. We went to Kapsa Monuments on the recommendation of someone at our church and returned the second time because of the care, compassion and professionalism given to us by Gloria. She answered our many questions, showed us the sample books and explained the stones and process of installation as if we were family. She left us to make our own decisions on design and then put together a few drawings based on what we were thinking. I recently went to Kapsa Monument Co. to obtain a marker for myself. The owners, husband and wife, I believe, were welcoming and the meeting was very relaxed. There are numerous samples of various sizes and orientations of markers (from flat to upright) from which to choose. There are also many displays of various stone materials, colors, and styles of printing, as well as sample illustrations. I’m sure that whatever you have in mind, they will be able to provide. Researched many monument companies, local as well as online. Settled on Kapsa for many reasons. First, we prefer to support an independent family run business. Gloria went above and beyond. She and their designer executed our mockup flawlessly. Our parent’s monument included custom graphics, as well as a religious phrase written in an uncommon language with unique characters.
