Baseline Sports Construction, LLC began surfacing tennis courts in 1982 as Empire Recreational Surfaces, and grew into a full service athletic and recreational construction company providing a wide-range of services such as tennis and pickleball court construction, running track construction, indoor sports facility construction, and natural and synthetic turf field construction and maintenance.
Baseline serves the southeast and is a licensed contractor in the states of Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi, Virginia, and West Virginia. Our services have grown to include consulting on recreational facility construction outside our geographic area as well as full service construction and maintenance throughout the Southeast.

Baseline is a member of The American Sports Builders Association. The (ASBA) was founded in 1965 as the U.S. Tennis Court & Track Builders Association (USTC&TBA) by a group of contractors who recognized the need for an organization that could help them address their mutual problems, set industry standards and keep them informed on issues pertinent to their businesses.

Baseline Sports Construction has the technical knowledge and quality products to provide you with a court that is hard to match. Baseline designs and builds not only hard courts, but also clay tennis courts. We utilize an underground plumbing system called sub-irrigation, which is a system of valve-controlled reservoirs under the clay material.

Amazing work by the best sports construction company on the east coast. The employees are professional and respectful to anyone who has any kinda of questions or concerns about the job being done. The quality is nothing less than remarkable and it doesn't matter if it's tennis courts or track n field events or the unbelievable site of their baseball and football fields looking like they came right out of a sports magazine. You'll be in awe and speechless when you see the great work this small company can do
