Paragon has been serving the Chicagoland area for over 15 years. We provide the highest quality service for our clients at a fair price. That's why we are still in business. Over the years we've been able to add new services in order to meet our client's needs. In addition to Seal Coating and Pressure Washing, we are also Spray Foam Insulation and Spray Roof Coating Professionals.
Since 1997 Paragon Protection has refined and added services based upon the needs we've seen from our clients. We began as a Sealcoating company which, by necessity, led to Pressure Washing. After deliberation and a clear desire for insulation services from our clients, we added the service and have had great success ever since.

We have a new construction home and we had concerns about airflow and relative temperature for my daughter's room, which is above our garage. Our garage gets quite cold when it's very cold outside as the external walls are not insulated.
Randy came by and thoroughly examined my daughter's room via infrared, showing that while having an uninsulated space below wasn't optimal there was not too much temperature creepage from that source. Overall, I am very pleased with my experience working with Paragon to insulate my crawl space and attic ahead of this winter. I would recommend their insulation services to anyone seeking that work to be done.
Some key highlights from my experience:
1. Randy came out to my house within a week of me initiating contact, and gave me a competitive quote onsite, right then. The office-admin even subsequently updated the estimate to add some language at my request, without issue.
2. Paragon was only booked 2-3 weeks out. You can potentially interpret that to be negative, but I needed this done before

As an update to this review and in response to Paragon's response, I did not imply that Paragon is at fault for my roof buckling; however, their crews did install baffles directly on mold that had formed on the roof boards without so much as a mention of it and vented the bathroom vents directly into the attic which, despite what Paragon says, IS NOT up to code per article M1507.2 of the International Residential Code of which my town abides.

Randy and his crew are very professional. If you're looking to do any kind of insulation this is the company you want to work with. The price is more than fair and their professionalism is top notch.There were a few spots that initially were missed at our house, he came back immediately took care of it. We were so happy with our experience with Randy from Paragon Services, we have had him out 2 times in the last month to address both the attic and the crawl space of our new home. After Randy and his team replaced our fiberglass insulation in the crawl space with spray foam, it raised the average air temperature on our first floor by over 15 degrees! I has made a HUGE difference right away and I can’t wait to see the $$ we save on our heating/air conditioning.

I've hired Paragon Insulation now for two insulation jobs in our home. First, Randy came out to give a quote on the attic insulation removal and blow in insulation in the attic. He was thorough in checking out our entire attic and gave us a fair/reasonable quote. When his crew came out they were efficient and did a great job! I hired Paragon again to come out this winter to spray foam insulate in areas that were very drafty in our basement and bathroom/office area. I interviewed quite a few different Insulation Companies to find a company that was knowledgeable and offered a fair pricing. I was not necessarily looking for the lowest price, but an honest price based on the work I was requesting.
Nic came out and did more than just pop his head up into the attic, he got up there and looked around, noting things to recommend. The home was built in 1969 and had about 6" of blown in Cellulose. He talked about different options from adding Cellulose over the existing to removing everything and going with either a spray in foam or going with blown in fiberglass

Paragon did a wonderful job spraying above the foundation in our basement and removing the disgusting stuff that was in there. From the initial estimate to the completion of the job, Randy (owner) was a top notch professional. He explained the process during the estimate and stuck to it. He's very responsive and showed up to the job himself so you know that this isn't just some owner subbing out to random crews. Do yourself a favor and at least give them a call when doing your homework.

I hired Randy to spray foam insulate my crawlspace last summer. He showed up on time. He was professional. The only issue is a small area got missed. I called him up and he apologized and said he could be back out quickly. It rained like crazy for weeks afterward so my yard was very wet. He contacted me during that rainy spell to let me know he hadn't forgotten about me but wanted it to dry out so that his trailer didn't leave ruts. Well, it rained and rained some more. It rained so damn much I forgot about the crawlspace. I just went into the crawlspace

Thank you yelp for the referral. Randy is a real nice guy who is honest. I called Paragon after reading reviews for a basement room remodel involving foundation walls and need for insulation on the ceiling for noise reduction. Randy is the most passionate person ever regarding Attic insulation. SUPER KNOWLEDGEABLE, helpful, and honest. EXCELLENT communication and work rate. Whole team is amazing. They ripped out my insulation over the attic, seal foamed every entrance possible, and replaced to R-49. A killer big job, and I'm super happy with my choice to book Paragon. RECOMMEND.

I am very impressed with the customer service and patience (had many many questions). I called Randy based on a friends recommendation, thinking I just need to add some insulation. Once here, Randy found an animal infestation that made me want to burn the house down and move (I resisted the temptation). Randy patiently explained that all can be fixed, nests removed and assured me many many times that the holes that allowed entry can be sealed at all animal evidence removed and cleaned out. Randy is THE guy you want for spray foam insulation. We live in a house that's almost 100 years old and decided to remodel the basement. There was no question that we needed spray foam especially since the house was never equipped with a drain tile and sump. The closed cell spray foam seals out water so it's worth every penny above the traditional fiberglass stuff. As soon as they were finished, the entire basement was remarkably warmer than it ever had been. The results were instant.
