Schedule a maintenance service call before the heating season starts. If there are any problems with your system, it's better to find out before it's freezing outside! I’m so pleased with my experience with Tyndall HVAC. I reached out to them after receiving a referral through Angi (formerly Angi’s List) because I was unable to connect my new smart thermostat on my own. I texted their number and received a response very promptly around 5pm on a Sunday. We scheduled a timeframe for them to arrive the next day and they showed up at the earliest hour. There are only two things in life that make me cry: Death and Home Remodeling. So, when I decided to do something about cooling my house due to our increasingly frequent HOT spells, I approached it with my usual combination of dread and anxiety. From start to finish Tyndall was a pleasure to deal. Peter, the owner, spent 20 minutes on the phone initially to educate me on the options and what to expect IF the were to get the business. A very different experience than the other company bids received who sent an "estimator" (code for a sales person that doesn't know the trade), who would need to confirm with a project manager before the installers arrived. Peter was onsite during the install with his guys. The install was CLEAN (see photos) and the unit is working very well. Tyndall will be my go-to for all future HVAC projects. Thank you

I called to make an appointment for seasonal checkup and was told that I'd get a call back to schedule. Never got a call back to schedule, but had service guys come out unannounced to do their check up. Fortunately, my wife was home to approve and let them do their work. Not sure who dropped the ball in scheduling/call, but it would have been nice to know when they were coming.

My A/C condenser stopped working and I called Jason, he arrived within 15 minutes of my call (seriously) and replaced my fuses and capacitor on my unit and had my house cooling down within 60 minutes of my call. Reasonably priced, unbelievable response time and customer service. I'm not sure what else you could ask for in a HVAC company.

In the past six months I have called upon Tyndall HVAC to repair both my air conditioning and heating systems. In both cases their service was very prompt. The technicians were very knowledgeable, quickly diagnosing the problem and completing repairs. Their rates were very reasonable. I am very satisfied with their services and will continue to call upon them in the future.

DON'T USE THEM! If I could give them zero stars I would. I called to have them repair an AC unit. A week later it stopped working for the exact same reason. It had developed ice around the unit again despite the coolant recharge. When I called to ask him why it was building up ice again despite having been fixed just a week before he flew off the handle and screamed at me defensively. Peter, the owner, installed a 5 ton furnace and AC unit for the lower level of my house 2 years ago, and he just installed a wole new system for the upstairs in the attic. One thing I will emphasize: He knows what he's doing and he is very reasonable compared to others. Yes, you have to be patient before you catch him, but he will answer. The employees are courteous, clean, punctual, and hard workers. I am very pleased with his work and highly recommend him.

For customer service on the phone he's super nice, but he really doesn't remember anything about a schedule! I called him for a diagnostic on my ac unit, and he told me to call him back around 7pm since he didn't have his schedule handy he was out on a job. Fine no problem! So I called at 7:15 just in case. Well he was driving which that happens, but from the time of my original call at 4pm and then he had already forgotten the problem we were having. Our heater was not working and Pete came out to look at it and figured the problem fairly quickly. Unfortunately he didn't have the part in his truck. He told me that he would have to run back to Concord and then come back this way, but it would get done the same day. He came back around 6 in the evening as promised and got the furnace to work. Definitely would use him again.

I had my first great experience with Tyndall HVAC in July of 2011. I have continued to use them over the years, most recently on August 27. I own a few apartments in Antioch and there are few companies that are able to take on a project and work with the tenants and complex management to complete the work to everyone's satisfaction. I am a happy, long-term customer and wouldn't go anywhere else for HVAC work in the East Bay.

Peter Tyndall just installed a new Trane furnace and AC in my home. He made clever suggestions during the design phase, suggesting an AC model that fit better in our place. He also installed a new two-zone system, which should make our home much more comfortable.
He and his technicians were on time, courteous, and did a great job at a fair price. I highly recommend him!

Jason at Tyndall HVAC is amazing. With the current heat wave and temps over 100 degrees in Brentwood, having your air conditioning go out is awful. And with my elderly mom, it can be downright dangerous.
Within an hour of calling, Jason showed up and diagnosed the problem. He had the part and installed it immediately. My mom now has cool air!
The service provided by Tyndall was amazing. It's Labor Day weekend, a Sunday, and record temperatures in the Bay Area. Our hopes were not high. But Jason @ Tyndall HVAC was a hero. So nice and professional. We highly recommend Tyndall HVAC

Updating my review as we have had Tyndall service our AC for a few years after installation and the service has been horrible. The office manager and Pete can't get their schedules in sync. Missed appointments, promises of call backs that never happened and all around frustration, I stopped contacting this company and went with another. You'll find that HVAC guy that has 5 stars and over 300 reviews. Go with that guy.

Pete is awesome! Upon our first meeting he inspected my HVAC system, was honest about exactly what needed repair and completed it in a timely fashion, at a reasonable price.
