This review is well overdue, as I love doing business with Ryan and his team at Jensen Mechanical. Our AC system failed in the middle of a heatwave (of course it did!). I received two estimates from other firms prior to contacting Jensen. Neither company suggested a repair and insisted that we needed a complete system replacement. Their estimates seemed very high, and I reached out to Jensen after receiving a referral. They contacted the manufacturer, and we were able to repair the system, saving us a great deal of money. Had a problem with my heater Ryan diagnosed the problem, multiple problems were the cause! Said they would get back to me with cost and arrival of the parts prior to ordering them! Called back by the end of the day and parts were ordered and estimated cost of everything. One day for parts, came the next day and replace parts and tested heater! Heater has not worked this good for 5 years it is awesome! Very professional and prompt service, wore booties and explained everything.
We strongly advise using Jensen Mechanical for HVAC needs.

We only needed an annual service and inspection on our heating unit but I'm glad I called them. After making the appointment, I received a reminder call the night before and a call in the morning to let me know what time Ryan would arrive, inside of the 2 hour window. When he got here, Ryan explained what and why he would be doing with our unit and proceeded with the service. He was professional and friendly and we'll be calling him for A/C service in the spring.

Very disappointed in this company, after a neighbor recommended it for keeping her old furnace going. It was clear from the outset what faulty part needed replacing and eventually I was able to find the part itself so we had all the specs for replacing. But Jensen's refused for an entire, stressful week to call me back until finally I tracked down Ryan who admitted he didn't want to deal with such an old furnace.

We've worked with Jensen twice and have found them to be honest, price competitive, and seamless to work with. The first time was a couple years back when our heater stopped working. Ryan originally thought it was the motherboard, which would have been a pricey repair, but after figuring out it was the igniter he swapped it out for the correct part replacement without a problem.

Ryan Jensen was a such a pleasure to do business with. Our AC went out late at night, and the HVAC company I've done business with for 5 years couldn't make an emergency visit to my home (2nd time they couldn't come out in 6 months though they advertise 24 Hour Emergency Appointments all over their website and business cards). I called Jensen Mechanic and spoke directly with the owner, Ryan. He was very courteous and didn't make me feel like he was annoyed by my late night call like my previous HVAC company did. Called these folks tonight on my way home from work, after my AC went out last night. They had been highly recommended to me by my sister and mother. My house was built in '94 and the A/C system is obviously original, and I just assumed after 22 years and another long hot Summer in Antioch it's time had come for a repair at least or replacement at worst.
I was lucky to get Jennifer on the phone, and after a few questions from her about to what was going on with my system she told me to check the main breaker panel when I got home. She said that I had a 50/50 shot that the A/C circuit

Just wanted to add to the already great reviews of Jensen Mechanical. Jennifer got me scheduled quickly although it's been crazy busy for them. Ryan arrived and identified the problem with my a/c unit, he had the part in the truck and made the repair! Thirty minutes after arriving he had my a/c working and was on his way. We use Jensen Mechanical for our AC/heater services. This guy is very honest, professional with reasonable prices. The first time Ryan came in to our house, was last year during the winter time, he fix the heater. The second time we call him it was during the hot days of summer time. Our AC just stop working and we just melted in the house. Ryan came out as quick as possible and find out the problem! He replaced the part that was necessary to replace, he checked that everything is working well before he left. After couple days we notice that the AC unit stop working again. We called Ryan again

Woke up on a cold Saturday morning, with no heat. Made a few calls and got a referral to Ryan Jensen from my plumber. He was here within 2 hours of my call and got the job done in less than 30 minutes. Ryan took the time to give me a detailed explanation of the problem and fix. The "after hours" service rate was less than I would have expected to pay for a normal business hours rate.

We scheduled a tune up call earlier this year after a neighbor recommended this company. Ryan arrive on time and conducted a very thorough inspection and tune up. He did a great job explaining all of the issues with our antiquated furnace and A/C unit. Everything is still humming along, but we will be sure to call Jensen when the system reaches the end of its useful lifespan.

STAY AWAY! Sneaky and dishonest! We hired Jensen Mechanical to install an AC system in our home. Their bid wasn't the cheapest, but the owner seemed trustworthy, at least initially.. He turned out to be a total cheat and the job was a disaster.
It took a month to finish instead of the 3 days we were told it would be, the owner completely screwed up getting the proper permits with the city, lied to us repeatedly saying everything was in order, dragged his feet fixing his paperwork problems, and then argued with the inspector's safety requirement to bolt the AC unit into our roof

Ive managed my own property for over 35 years & Ryan Jensen is the most knowledgable HVAC contractor I've ever met, my two units have floor heaters that are over 60 years old. He's Honest & Fair too..! The kind of guy you feel confident recommending to friends and family.. !
