One of our trained technicians will come out, diagnose the problem and give you an estimate for your repair. There is no service call fee with repair.

I have used Dave's appliance repair previously and they performed as expected. This time I had a Maytag washing machine repaired just prior to Thanksgiving and one week later the same problem recurred. When we called we were told that there might be an additional hose that would be necessary and the diverter valve would need to be replaced again. We were told it would of course be covered under warranty since it was only one week since the repair. When they returned approximately three weeks later to repair the machine we were given an invoice for $339 on top of the $500 we had already paid

I called Dave's to get a quote on my refrigerator repair. I made it clear to the technician that Whirlpool would be sending the parts required and that I really needed a quote to know the specific parts needed and the cost of the labor.I was provided a quote and when the parts arrived at Dave's from Whirlpool, Dave's informed me that the work would be $100 more than originally quoted. When I decided to go to pick up my whirlpool parts, there were missing items and they were condescending and unapologetic. It has been an all around miserable experience.

We were pleased with the service we received from Dave’s on our Samsung refrigerator. Dave’s tech Britany, very lovely. Britney arrived on time and took apart the fridge pretty quickly. Once the problem was diagnosed, we were pleased to hear Britney had the right part on her truck. I would say the total service time was about an hour. Britney was charming and professional.
The only complaint I have is that it was a bit pricey at $339 for roughly a thirty-dollar part plus labor. In the end, our refrigerator is fixed, I have no idea how to service refrigerators, so we are all paying for Dave’s

I had a service call on a Saturday for my microwave that wasn't heating. Each time the tech put a cup of water in the microwave it heated but it was determined that I need a new Magnetron with no further tests just that it wasn't heating intermittently. They told the cost of the new part and service would be an add'l $503.00. I asked the tech if a new microwave would be cheaper, and she stated the type of microwave I have which has a convection oven built in would run around $1000.00 so I took her at her word. I signed a form for them to order the part. They didn't tell

I highly recommend Dave's Appliance Repair. He recently fixed my dishwasher, microwave and refrigerator to my complete satisfaction and at the cost I expected. Dave went so far as to locate a microwave door plastic piece for me so I wouldn't have to pay for a whole new door or replace the microwave. He is a hard worker and I'll use him always! Thank you.

Where to begin? i called daves after my washer broke ( flashed e6 code) bearing assembly bad. i bought one replaced it same code. Called daves . 1st visit they said same thing 2nd visit replaced part same thing (e6) said motor was bad 3rd visit. hmm must be mother board mean time they broke the part i bought and denied it and i cant get my money back.4TH visit mother board installed looks good but we broke the clutch motor. 5th visit motor replaced washer works took 1 month . hey how about diagnostic tools to fix problem first try or own up to breaking parts that i bought so i can recoupe some

We hired them to repair our microwave. They took a $100 deposit, which they would credit against the work. The repair was the replacement of a $50 part, which took 25 minutes. They credited the $100 and charged us $280 for the 25 minutes of labor -- actually 10 minutes of work and 15 preparing the bill. We were NOT provided an estimate before the work was done, but my wife was coerced to sign the receipt acknowledging the work even when she questioned the incredibly high rate for such

I scheduled them from 7 am to 12noon today and got a call at 12:20 they they would be even later. They take deposits ahead to ensure your appointment time which made me think they might value my time as well. Not the case! They were curt when I told them I would not be willing to reschedule and waist another morning of my life.

Stay away... do not use these guys. poor customer service. I called up requesting service. I was literally on the phone with them, and they said i have to submit a request online. NOT on the phone. do they not realize this turns customers away... i thought that was very weird.... so i go to their website, and i submit their web-based form.. i'm busy, lots going on.. no reply, no word from them. 12 days goes by, no word back. so i call up, and the lady on the phone was very rude, and spoke over me, and would not listen to me. all she would say is that it works for everyone else

BEWARE!!!! Please do not use! I gave them 1 star only to write review. They perpetrated fraud. Dave came out provided an estimate for my dishwasher repair. His men came out, spent 45 minutes told me all finished. I asked if I had to sign anything, they said no. I went upstairs after work, water in bottom of dishwasher, the original problem, called multiple times that week to have them come out, explaining Dave, himself said they would turn off water and electric to perform service. Never did they come to laundry, through my office, to do that. Scheduled 2 separate appts to get it done, no shows

Enjoyed service from Dave himself on our dishwasher this week. The office was very accommodating with a convenient appointment time. Dave was pleasant, honest and knowledgeable. He had the parts required for the job on his truck and made the repair at a fair price in less than 30 minutes. I'll be calling Dave again (hopefully not too soon, LOL).

This has been a horrible experience. They seemed nice and competent until they had my money and had to come back for a third time to get the replaced part to work. Then, they refused to come on a Saturday (and admitted work day) to make the ordeal easier on me. Before this all happened, I had called Dave himself to understand why I was not told from the beginning that I might also need to replace the motherboard. When he did not call back, his office worker said, "He's not in the office that much, so we just leave him his messages and he responds to them whenever he does come in."

I've used Dave's several times in the past and found the service to be excellent with very fair pricing when Dave himself did the work . Not so on yesterday's dryer repair which took 2 workers around 30 minutes and yielded a $374 bill, of which $103.88 was demanded up front. When the job was finished I was handed an invoice for an additional $105 in parts (which retail for around $35) and a "standard dryer repair" fee of $249. I had requested an estimate up front when I scheduled the appointment but was told every job is different. I'm not sure how different each repair

Their tech came, quickly diagnosed that our older dryer needed a new belt. We agreed to replace it. They ordered the belt which came in faster than expected. They returned promptly to install it and installation was fast and well done. We never missed a wash day and the dryer has worked fine ever since.

Ordered a part for my washer through Amazon. Part was bad out of the box. Saturday morning, 9am. I called Dave’s. The lady that answered the phone was delightful! She explained their whole ordering process clearly. They had the part I needed, and I was on my way! I installed the new part and it worked perfectly! Project finished! And the part cost no more than Amazon or eBay!

Do not use this company. I had them come out to repair my fridge. First they told me it was defineately the board. I paid for the part and waited 3 weeks. Finially i called them for an update and they said they were waiting for me to pay to order the part. After i proved i already paid thwy finially got the part. Installed it and the fridge worked for a week. Called them back several times. All the would do is come and put more freon in. If they would have tested for that in the beginning i wouldnt have needed a board. I called back to speak with the owner and never got a call back. Worst

Do not use!!! their customer service is horrible. I paid them over $1200 and waited for 2 months for the parts and service for a washing machine. When I call I get no answers just "we'll look into it"
Twice I asked for emailed receipts for parts and service call and still have received nothing to date.

5/29/2019 Yuli and a helper - came out to figure out why the refrigerator was not staying cold. Diagnoses - Needs a new compressor $1,282.07 for a new compressor for refrigerator.
Yuli: It may be in on Friday. If so, I will come out and install it.
6/3/2019 Monday I called, and they told me not all the parts have not come in. Wednesday the parts were all in and Yuli came to install the compressor.
6/12/19 Noticed the temperature was fluctuating up and down. I called to have them come back out.
6/14/19 Yulli - came back out and tested - he said it needed more freon.

I've used Dave appliance many times over the years but as time passes I fear their business plan needs to be updated to meet the requirements of the 21st century.
I've found their workmen to be competent polite and happy to talk about what's going on so that you can understand the why of what they are doing.
So why only 3 stars? convenience. They are in a business that needs clients to feel comfortable with you, OK so far so good and more importantly is convenient for you to use. On this second point Dave's falls down badly.
