Chris Doose, CEO, is a fourth generation entrepreneur, and a third generation Central Texas based home builder & developer. After graduating from St. Edwards University with a B.A. in Business, Chris excelled at positions in home building and construction. These opportunities provided Chris insight into the intricacies of everything from single & multi-family homes to commercial development and ultimately the establishment of Flintrock Builders.
Bella Charca is a new high-end gated community in Nolanville, located just on the eastern edge of Harker Heights, just a short and convenient distance from Highway 190. Begun in 2005 and still building today, the community features the area's elite builders like Flintrock Builders and other home builders.
Bella Terra is a brand new community in Temple, located near the best parts of what Temple has to offer. Splash Park, Disk Golf Course, Shopping, Temple/Belton ISD, Private Schools & Health Care. The community features the area's elite builders like Flintrock Builders and other home builders. Homes are between 2000 to 2300 square feet and many feature a study or flex room.

After deciding to build our next home, my wife and I found a lot that was the perfect size for the house and pool that we wanted, as well as plenty of yard for the kids to play in. When we found out that it was Flintrock’s lot, we began to research them. It only took a few minutes before we were sold on the builder as well as the lot. We moved quickly to secure the lot and soon after starting planning and designing the house. We picked the Frio plan because it had all the bedrooms we needed AND the media room we desperately wanted! I love the three car garage that has plenty of room for my truck

Everyone we spoke to highly recommended Flintrock, and now we see why. We absolutely love our Flintrock Home! They built us a stunning home that fit our family of 5 perfectly. We picked The Frio floor plan, and we absolutely love the open concept living room and kitchen. We can't wait to have friends and family over to show it all off. The details of the home are lovely. We have granite countertops throughout the house, and they are superb. The soft-close cabinets and drawers are a must when you have kids. My experience started promising but soon deterated. The Forman for my project was inexperienced and lied about structure problems. When I took the problem to the builder he made promises but did the opposite. The framing crew was the worst, beer bottles around the site, the framing structure was shabby, windows not centered, corners cut. The building crew even had the incorrect blue prints for my home. They were building rooms that didn't belong. I had to Forman my own build, any way the builder could find to charge me extra he did. Dont be wowed by this builders model homes, because the model

The Flintrock team built our beautiful custom home in The Villas of Bella Charca. Working with the team was a pleasant experience and they even include ADA compliant work for my elderly mother. The home is beautiful! It took longer than agreed upon to get it started and completed but it truly is an amazing home!

Flintrock Builders builds a phenomenal product! Chris and his team were amazing throughout the process of the build! From beginning to end, they listened to our needs and desires, gave expert feedback when we needed it, and communicated constantly the entire way thru so we never had to guess what was happening! Sooooo important!
