Gary was awesome. I called Appliance Geek after using another local appliance repair company who completely tried to take me. They tripled their service call and wanted to replace the ice maker that was only not working due to an issue with a freezer part. Gary came in and explained why the ice maker wasn't working. Cleaned the ice from the freezer part. Kept me in the loop on the part and even checked in today to see if everything was still working well. And the cost was almost half of what the other company was trying to charge me.

I needed some ballpark prices for my repair, but instead heard whining about how much he had to pay for HomeAdvisor. Then he hung up on me.
What a shame.

No need to feel sorry for my tenants sir ... this story just shows how attentive I am that it was the first thing to do in the morning. And there was no wishing me a good day, you simply hung up on me. When I tried to call you back thinking we got disconnected, you did not answer.
Furthermore, the range and oven got fixed today, and yes sir ... it Was the Element!

I highly recommend using Appliance Geek. I was very impressed with Gary's knowledge and customer service. Gary was able to fix my Samsung washer and he demonstrated tips on how to effectively maintain it so I don't have problems in the future.
In fact, while walking by the kitchen, he stopped at my Samsung refrigerator and showed me a potential problem with the refrigerator drain.
On occasion I'd find a small puddle on the floor by the refrigerator and I assumed it was an ice cube that was dropped. Nope, it was the defroster drain that was frozen solid causing water to leak

I called with a problem of my residential fridge in my motorhome not getting cold and we were trying to leave on a trip. Gary arrived within an hour and diagnosed the problem. His technician Ryan needed to perform the repair and he was already very busy that day. Ryan and Gary both arrived later that evening and insisted they would not leave until the fridge was fixed so we would proceed on our trip. They both stayed 4 hours performing the repair until 11:30 PM! The fridge was fixed and they saved our trip.

Ryan C. with Appliance Geek is awesome! Before I contacted Ryan, I had another repair company come out twice and they misdiagnosed our fridge issue. I scheduled a 3rd appointment with them and they canceled on me due to the part being returned on accident. I saw Ryan's number on Nextdoor, contacted him and he came out the very next day. He took a look and stated that the part that the other company was trying to replace was WRONG. He diagnosed the real issue, replaced the real part that needed replacing and our fridge works perfectly now. From now on I will contact Ryan with all my appliance

I would highly recommend Appliance Geek to anyone looking for appliance repair. Ryan called immediately after I left a message about a GE washer issue and came the next day to diagnose it. Unfortunately he didn't have the part in his truck to fix it (who would with so many brands and parts out there??) and set up a time to come back as soon as the part came in. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Their prices are very reasonable, too!! I would definitely use them again!

Had Gary as my technician twice now, and he has done a fantastic job both times. He explained his steps and what he was doing along the way, which was really appreciated.
My oven was a mess and Gary was able to come out and diagnose the problem, which required an electrician to do some wall stuff. Gary contacted our property management, gave them a full update, and we had the next step already going for us. Once the wall was fixed Gary was back out and fixed the last broken part of our oven. He even went out of his way to try to find replacement parts for our ancient oven.

My Samsung dryer stopped providing heat yesterday. I found Appliance Geek on the internet last night and sent a work request. Gary emailed me back within minutes asking for details. He called again this morning to say he could get to me by noon. He was on time and was very knowledgeable and friendly. He not only found the problem quickly but serviced the 9 year old machine to ensure I should have no future issues... I will definitely call Gary if I have future appliance issue - highly recommend!!

Appliance Geek (Wilton CA) is the place to call for your appliance repairs. Gary repaired my LG refrigerator under incredibly difficult conditions. Because of the location of the kitchen island, he was unable to pull the refrigerator out far enough to run the diagnostic tests. But He never gave up. His knowledge and sheer tenacity saved the day! I have a working Refrigerator without having to deconstruct my entire kitchen! Thanks Gary! You will remain my "go to guy" for appliance repair and my Appliance Geek Hero.

My 1st complaint: he did not go over the price before doing the repair.
He just assumed we would want the work done.
(I was confused because it says in his Ad that he always goes over price before starting repair)
The bill he gave us came to $223, for the 30 minute job.
My second complaint: When I asked him why he didn't go over the price with us before doing the work, he just said "do you want me to put your dryer back the way it was?" - what a waste of time. I said no - & asked him again , why wouldn't he just go over pricing before starting a job? He then said
