Was told by customer service that they would come and do a free ONSITE quote.
Got a call from the plumber asking for pictures of the issue so that he could give a quote over the phone - I told him that they said he'd be here in person to give the quote, not wanting to argue anymore I texted pictures and he quoted an $1,800 fix.
He eventually came to my house after I called customer service to tell them he refused to come in person. When he did come in person, his originally assumption of what the problem was was wrong and he qutoed something substantially less than the $1,800 fix.

]CALLED TODAY and they were able to get here same Day! pricing fair and well explained when I asked how they figure it out and then charge. Explained what they fixed and why and and didn't go over the minimum needed,so felt they told me the way it was. Mike was on time and put up and said hi to our barking dogs. As a Realtor Service is what I give and what Is important when I am the customer. I got it here and will use them again and use as a reference for clients.

They did a great job. Called first thing in the morning and the dispatcher /scheduler was patient and knowledgeable about what I needed. Was able to arrange this for same day clearing of the drain that was clogged. Mike the plumber technician was fast and explained what was needed and got it done!

The team was responsive in scheduling, the tech prompt in the time window for service, and he was very courteous and engaging while on the job. The work was done efficiently and without any hassle. Would definitely use Discount Plumbers again. Do be aware that unclog jobs that run over an hour can raise the price above the bold advertised total, but that was not the case for us and regardless, it's a reasonable policy. I've called them on two occasions, both times they were very professional, on time and to the point, no nonsense. Affordable prices for the jobs I needed done and did not try and up-sell me on a bunch of extra stuff. I've had bad experiences with three other plumbing companies in the Robbinsdale area and Discount Plumbing was a welcomed relief. This was my first experience with a professional plumber as a (female) homeowner. My dad used to help me with all my plumbing needs prior to this. Once I noticed my floor drain backing up after doing a load of laundry, I needed help. I called on Monday morning, they gave me a 2-5pm window. It was approaching 4:15, I called to see if someone was still coming out that day and they stated they were running late.
