Listen. When your bath is slow to drain and suddenly your toilet starts bubbling and then the other toilet won't flush, and it's Friday at 8pm, you know you're in for an exciting evening. Husband found JB Plumbing on Yelp and they were here in less than 45 minutes! The whole family is incredible and I was so impressed with Jessie in particular - she really knows her stuff and has a calming, confident demeanor. They were fast, helpful and kind when we had an after-hours emergency. They explained the problem, keeping our plumbing fears reasonable and showed our kid a lot of very cool tools - especially watching our sewer line get a colonoscopy, and what I'm pretty sure was a Ghostbusters tool for locating problematic roots in our yard. They helped us with a tough night!

I have an old triplex house with a lot of plumbing issues that I've been slowly updating, and Jesse and Jose have done a lot of work on it. They're aways great to work with, and provide insight into the problem, and what needs to be fixed right away or what temporary fixes can help.
They have always been on time - they have even called to see if they could come early a few times. When that wasn't convenient for me, they waited until the agreed time with no hassles.
The prices are reasonable and the work is quality. I highly recommend them.

JB Plumbing and Rooter are knowledgeable, highly skilled and tenacious. Our crawl space is compact, and crowded with old pipes, new pipes, footings, and way too much stuff for such a small space. Jose and Jesse were undaunted and dug out earth to get our extensive job done. We had a shoddy repipe done by hacks and they came in to help us literally dig our way out. Gas line fixed , hot water restored , we booked them for more work before they even left.

Had a shower head break and a shower not able to turn off as a result around 11:30pm. I called JB plumbing because we couldn’t figure out how to turn off our water. He actually answered his phone (something several other companies that said they had 24hr services didn’t do) and was extremely professional and kind to help us get the water off over the phone. Definitely recommend giving them a call.

They are so helpful and kind, they actually helped me solve my toilet flushing problem over the phone, it ended up being something simple which they were able to teach me. The woman I talked to over the phone was very helpful in figuring out the problem (unlike other company I called which didnt ask me any details and was probably going to try and charge me for new parts). These guys came by at night for an emergency clog situation in our single toilet home. It turned out there was a root ball in the sewer right where it turns into the house. They couldn't get to it without a price bump I wasn't prepared for (for a more elaborate solution)... so I decided to wait til the morning and get another option. But these guys were honest and reliable, and didn't charge me anything for their time (even though I offered), which I really appreciated. And their option ended up being right in the ballpark of the other guys. Thank you!

I had an issue with two sink clogs so I found JB Plumbing on Yelp and called them because of the positive reviews. I explained the issues and they were available to come out the next day (a Sunday). They came out on time (even gave a heads up when they were on the way) and resolved the issues quickly. They also provided some tips on how to maintain to prevent a recurrence. Overall had a great, efficient experience, and would definitely call them again.

They're my go to plumbers. Jesse and Jose are just the most trustworthy and honest plumbers I've ever worked with. I have many many problems with the pipes in my very old house and they're always very determined to get to the bottom of any problem-- they're almost like pipe detectives! Kind people who do excellent work. They roto-rooted our drain last week and came back today to replace our entire sewer line, which was broken in several places. Jose was responsive, very professional and arrived within the timeframe promised for an urgent plumbing need on a Sunday afternoon. He took care of the issue which was a clogged main line accessed through the clean-out and gave us some suggestions to repair / replace a custom toilet that had a broken part. We'll be contacting him again for our future plumbing needs and for annual maintenance to remove roots from our main plumbing line. My husband called JB Plumbing and Rooter because our master shower was draining SOOOO slow, and his sink was draining really slowly too.
We had tried draino, but didn't know it actually makes it worse! Thank goodness for Jesse to help us. She unclogged our master shower, and helped clear out the gunk in my husbands sink. She was so sweet and gave us advice on how to keep our pipes clean since we are new homeowners.

Jose came within the hour as he stated. Repaired a pipe behind dryer . The Gas Co had detected a leak after street work and couldn't turn on service until it was repaired. José repaired it within the hour maybe less .
I didn't bother to negotiate a price because it needed to be fixed and it was evening . A check of problem was $80. The first quote was $200 then went to $400. He replaced the line and a pipe that had another pipe in the elbow that didn't fit correctly .
My gas is back on. Kids can shower, we can eat and all things are back to normal. He made a long night of repair

Came promptly and did a rooting job that the "smell good" plumbers wouldn't do. Then, sent a camera along the pipe to pin down the source of the problem, which I don't think the other guy would have done. Charged a fair price, polite, friendly, and conscientious. From a customer who had no idea where the problem came from but knew it was plumbing related, I called JB plumbing for the first time because they were local, and I got to tell you, they found the problem, gave me different options on how to go about on fixing the problem at a reasonable price. I then called and compared prices just to make sure I got a fair price and I found out I actually had a bargain. My brother thought it would be easy to change the inner workings of a leaky shower valve. So it came off without a hitch but the problem was putting it back together. Finally we gave up and had JB plumbing come over and finish it for us. He had this problem solved in no time at all. Great service and fair price
