Carson Door was started in 1998 by Dan McNeely. He has been in the building industry for over 15 years and has worked specifically in the door industry since 1994. Dan and his dedicated professionals take pride in their work. Starting our in a 1,500 sq ft warehouse, we have grown to our current 12,000 sq ft building, which enables us to better serve our loyal customers.
Built by Bridges Construction, located in Reno in the majestic Caughlin Ranch and showcased in the 2007 Parade of Homes. This home features an array of products provided by Carson Door. Whether it is the doors, moulding, or columns, this house has it all! All interior doors are custom made Millennium with the Seedy Baroque custom glass.
We have built multiple homes in the Lake Tahoe area and can always depend on Carson Door to supply us with just the right product for our clients. We demand the best for our clients and will not settle for inferior product. Whether it is pine, alder, or composite doors, we know we can count on Dan to get us the best quality for the best price.

Drove to Carson Door to purchase new doors for my home but was turned away and told to go elsewhere, TOO BUSY! Really? First question was not "may I help you" but rather "are you a contractor"? Times are obviously good for Carson Door but perhaps you should lock your front door at the business and stop wasting "walk in" customers time who drive to your shop to buy doors from you! Do yourself a favor and find a door shop that gives good service to all as this company just wasted my time!

I won't be going there for anything - they'll be glad about that. My husband, who is much more patient and polite than I am, went in today - just wanting information on what products/services they provided. When he walked in, and said he had a few door projects in his south Reno home, he was met with serious rudeness. "we only make doors - we don't install them", "this is Carson door, not Reno door", etc. One person there did give him a name of someone who might help, and another was semi-interested in the projects

After years of having our inside garage / laundry door with a large cutout for a doggy door in it from previous owner, we finallyyy decided it was time to fix this for not only safety fire reason but our heating/cooling bill.
Called Carson Door for a quote along with how long on turn around, they said approximately a week. We dropped off the door and as promised in week we received a phone call stating the door was ready to be picked up, gal was friendly on the phone let me know their hours - woo-hoo that easy and went to pick up the door the following day!!
Now we have a new door that not

I ordered the door and they said that it would be ready in a week and a half. I called a week and a half later and they hadn't even ordered the door yet. They told me that they had lost the paperwork and it would be ready in a week. A week later I came to pick up the door and I asked for one hole in the door and they put in two holes. No discount was offered and I had to pay full price. Very poor customer service.

Milled my two doors, after I dropped them off, right before closing and they were extremely busy. I was promised in two days; they got it done the next day. BAM! That quick. Both doors fit perfectly, and they didn't over charge me. Best customer service ever, couldn't believe it! They are swamped too! Now I know why. They're good!!
