Services
Bernardo Vallefuoco, born and raised in Naples, Italy, has been restoring and remodeling buildings and homes in his native country since 1983. As owner of PROGETTO CASA RESTAURI in Florence, Italy since 1990, he specialized in marble and ceramic tile installation and antique building restoration.
Our success as a top-notch tile contractor is based on our ability to meet our clients' expectations on a timely and cost-effective basis. Communication to educate and provide realistic expectations of the tile installation process. Outstanding status as member of the BBB (Better Business Bureau) of the Greater Washington, DC Metropolitan Area.
I've redone two bathrooms with ceramic and glass tile and have a wonderful tile contractor to recommend. Vallefuoco Contractors did an amazing job - they're fast, reasonably priced and highly skilled. Call them and set up an appointment with Bernardo. Over the past 8 years, we have come to know Vallefuoco Contractors, LLC as not only one of the areas leaders in tile installation, but in customer service as well.
Most field tile is ordered by the carton in increments of around 10-15 SF. Don't forget to purchase grout, caulk, (and sealer for stone.) Always expect to have some leftover tile. You won't be able to get the same lot in the future, and many tile lines are discontinued regularly. Remember: people have floods, breakage, damage, appliance changes, or layout changes in their homes.
When ordering tile, we advise that you order a control sample to keep and match with the actual tile you will later receive. If your tile looks significantly different than what you ordered, don't worry yet! Take a deep breath! Often tile has a vast range of color and shade variation. Try to view several tiles from different cartons before assuming the whole "dye lot" is wrong.

I like them. I am a property manager and have used them on a few buildings. They are easy to work with and do good work.

Vallefuoco was referred to me by Architectural Ceramics (an excellent resource for tiles, marble, etc.).

Vallefuoco does not disappoint. They were reasonably priced and prompt. Their craftsmanship was superb (our job had a complicated mosaic tile installation and a floor-heating system). Their office staff was responsive.

All in all, Vallefuoco is an excellent, reliable resource.

The best tile installer ever. They put energy and creativity into the planning and their excellent installer patiently worked out the complicated design, including a few last minute improvements with me. I am thrilled with our new fireplace.
