We were staring at the computer menu and backed into garage door. We called Contra Costa Door and the estimater Paul Meyor arrived in a timely manner. He momentarily fixed the damaged old door so willingly before the new door can be installed.

Had a problem with my garage door not closing.An estimator came out( I thought I'd need a new door ) The estimator gave me an estimate and was very helpful in troubleshooting and said it may be the sunlight causing issues since it only happened at certain times of the day.
And it was!!
To make a long story short, they even tried saving me money by giving me tips to fix it myself. Attempted one tip but it needed more... I'm not handy or have the tools , so I called them to come out, and this time the technician ,Eric ,fixed the issue! He was efficient and went above and beyond.

I have a garage door install in 2018 by them, receive a lot of compliment. Was very satisfied with the purchase and price. Then last week I start having problem with the garage door opener , turns out to be sensor. They are extremely efficient and got me a service call right away, Eric came by on time , courteous and helpful. He manage to fix the problem and explain to me how to avoid similar problems in future. Very good service from a great company.

We backed our car into our old garage door and that was it. One of the panels broke and it wouldn't open. So we called Contra Costa Door.
They came out within a few days to give us an estimate for a new door. They listened to what I needed, offered advice on what features I should get, and helped me pick out the right windows to match the rest of the house.
They warned me that, due the pandemic, manufacturing was often delayed but they would probably have the door next month and that they would call me when they had a better estimate. Two weeks later they called to tell me the door had left

Mason helped me pick out a door exactly like the picture I brought in.
Allen came to my house and made a better recommendation on the size to fit my door opening better.
Jeff and Paul came on time with the correct door, trim and tools and did an excellent and efficient installation. They communicated the whole time and made a few little changes I requested.

Contra Costa Doors has come to my house twice. My car does not go in the garage. I really did not want to spend the money for a new door even though I could not open it. Contra Costa Doors came to the rescue. This company does great work at a reasonable price. The tech was polite and competent. I have no qualms about referring people to them
The first time they replace the springs. I was thrilled that I could open the heavy door. I had visions of firm arms that would be the envy of my friends from pulling the door up. Because the door is heavy a couple of times I did not push it all the way up

I am so happy with the service, professionalism, and value of the work done by this company. I called and spoke to Rodger who was the first out of three other places I've called that was able to give me a transparent answer regarding pricing. I asked for availability and luckily had someone come out less than an hour after calling to provide service! Jose came (mask and social distanced) and fixed the garage springs in less than an hour. He even explained to me that my garage motor is 20-25 years old and has some technical issues which will need to be addressed or replaced in the future. No

On a Saturday, I submitted an email request to be contacted to fix a broken spring on my garage door. On Monday morning at 8:30 am I received a call letting me know they can be at my house between 12-2 that day.
Jose was promptly at our house by 12 and by 12:30 our garage door was fixed!

Very professional company. When I didn't hear from another vendor after verbally confirming he will install our new garage opener "next week," I called up Contra Costa Door who had provided me a free estimate previously, honored the estimate, scheduled installation, and even confirmed the workday before (called Friday to confirm Monday install). They are a little more expensive than one-man-show businesses, but they are VERY good and have amazing costumer services. Would that I could give 10 stars to these folks. Their service has been exemplary. The technician who came last Tuesday was Eric, not José, and he arrived right w/in the expected window. I was downstairs talking w/ him and commented on how noisy the garage door opener was. He told me that the current ones are much quieter and, what's more. they have a battery backup for power outages. This was just informational, not a sales pitch. Contra Costa Door was helpful and professional, and made getting my garage fixed very simple. My garage door was having an issue with the sensors, refusing to close at times. When I first called Contra Costa Door for a service estimate, the representative walked me through how to fix the problem myself to save me the trip and expense of having someone come out, specifically how to clean the sensor. The representative was very patient and knowledgeable, explaining what the parts meant and each step of what we needed to do.

We had our garage door replaced over a year ago by these guys, but I just realized I'd never written a review. Very knowledgeable sales guy, quick quote process, amazing price and clearly a lasting product. Every time I open my garage I'm still pleased how quiet it is. Our old door had jammed, but they were able to save the motor and just replace the door. Get the windows- they're worth a little bit extra!! It makes all the difference in the facade of our home.

Called in a problem and very impressed with the stellar customer service recieved from Kevin. He walked me through a few things to try, & look at to address the garage door problem. He was kind, partier, detailed & all of this was without knowing if his company had done the install. He made a customer for life...with the phone call.
His suggestions were "on the money" and fixed the problem.
Side note: turns out his company is who installed garage door. EXCELLENT customer service!!!
