Charles, Bing, and team did extensive remodeling work for our home and did an outstanding job in a timely manner. The work included full kitchen remodel (countertop, backsplash tiles, appliances) , recessed lighting in bed rooms and living rooms (incl. a very high ceiling light), new led mirrors/vanity lights in bathrooms, and more. The entire team is very friendly, consulted on key decisions in a timely manner, and guided on new trends to help us make good decisions! The finished end product in 3 weeks totally transformed our home. Highly recommend this team!

Charles and his team were an amazing asset to the sale of our home. They were professional, fast, thorough and they came in right on budget. For a very reasonable amount we were able to fully update our home before selling and ended up having a bidding war of 11 buyers. We used Z design construction to finish our garage and attic space. Bing and his team were great from start to finish. We had an initial consultation regarding the scope of work and Bing heard us patiently and explained the feasibility of the tasks, especially in finishing the attic space. Bing was very open to feedback and also late requests. The Z team was very professional, always cleaned up at the end of the day, and wore masks as per guidelines. We were pressed on time. Charles, Bing and his team renovated our kitchen from ground up in 2 weeks and it was all ready before thanksgiving in 2020
Their team is very fast and did the thorough job. The crew came on time and even worked on Sundays to do the work including Demolition, counter top, cabinet, paint, plumbing, finishing touches. Bing supervised the job and we are very happy with the fully renovated kitchen.
The crew wore masks at all times which kept everyone safe.

Upon buying our home in early 2020, we knew we immediately wanted to remodel much of our home before moving in. After some research and looking at other projects they had done, we went with Z Design Construction. We have absolutely no regrets about this decision. I highly recommend them for the professionalism, work, materials used, quality, and precision. They have their own showroom and they have a wide variety of color combinations on tiles, cabinets, vanities, flooring, among everything else you might need and want.

We remodelled our Kitchen a couple months ago and were totally blown away with the professionalism of Charles. He was prompt in coordinating appointments for in-home consultation and was always available for any questions. He was kind enough to accomodate our last minute requests and there were no unexpected surprises in the end in terms of charges. We recently remodeled our kitchen through z design. Charles and his team were very professional through the project. Charles was always reachable and made sure he communicated with us all the time, setting our expectations on the progress each day. The team of workers were also very kind and went about their work without causing much disturbances to people living in the house. You can't make any factual HONEST, truthful review on yelp about a business if negative, because yelp makes it money from them.
My experience with Z Design is a negative 5, sales peoples extremely rude, arrogant, their inventory not price, so you have to ask. Their contractor "Charles" claiming to be the owner, didn't show up to appointment, without any apology.
Their Contractor license is under Wanyi Zhao, none of their workers speak a word in English! Is it crossing the line expecting businesses to respectfully communicate in English in a predominantly English speaking

Charles and his team were amazing. He finished the entire remodel within 10 days. I concur with the other reviews regarding Charles communication during the entire process. There were no unexpected charges during the entire process. Charles's pricing was transparent, reasonable, and fair.
Like most remodeling, minor issues popped up after the remodel was finished. Charles and his team fixed the issues immediately even though it was the day after Thanksgiving!

We had our kitchen cabinets and house flooring remodeled lately. Kitchen hexagon floor tiles were done perfectly by Mr. Hu, and electrician Mr. Chen was exceptionally detail-oriented. Mr. Chao is the most experienced carpenter I've ever worked with. His custom made bar countertop is such a masterpiece.
We highly recommend Charles and his team and will definitely choose Z Design for future projects.

I recently bought a house and needed to do some repairs and remodeling before we moved in. We got a recommendation to use Charles' team and I am so glad that we made the right decision. I had the pleasure of working with Charles and his crew on adding an additional bathroom to our home. I interviewed six contractors for the job and, for me, Charles exhibited a level of trust, flexibility and friendliness I was looking for.
During the process Charles always answered my questions and he really helped with plans to submit to the city for review. He was there every step of the way.
When we received the okay from the city his team was on-time and ready to work. I did have to remind his team barricade the area of work off from the rest of the house but that is just a technicality

I worked with Charles and his team for a variety of jobs including installing recess lights through out out my home, cabinet installation, electrical fixtures , installing doors and bedroom cabinets etc. He and his team are great to work with and easily approchable. He gives a quote in advance with clear details of the expenses so that there is no confusion later. His workers are dedicated and gives attention to details in the job being done.
