Like many other men, I have done a variety of trades in life. As a young man, I entered the USAF and completed a course in ground radio (electronics). Subsequently, I worked at a steel mill; fished with the San Diego tuna fleet; and performed as lead singer/guitarist in a band. Eventually I married, started a family, and for 16 years successfully operated a painting /paperhanging business.

For the past 18 years, thermodynamics and appliance repair have captured my attention. I have completed major courses in appliance repair, commercial/domestic refrigeration, and air conditioning at Baystate School of Technology and N.E. Institute of HVAC/R. I have also been employed by Maytag, Whirlpool and Sears.

As owner of Accu-Tek, I offer courteous, personal, and professional service. I am honest, dependable, and experienced. I strive to keep my skills current by attending seminars, and training courses relating to all aspects of my business. Lowes sent this guy under protection plan. Calls me same day I tell him the sound the dryer was making. Starts to tell me he will order this part and this part without ever coming out. Call him before he shows to make sure he will be here on the time planed. Tells me 1 part had not come in so I said how about coming out looking at the machine and go from there?
Comes out and it so happen the machine didn't make the sound when he shows up. Tells me the machines are junk, which he is not wrong all plastic parts inside them. But never even looked inside to see if something was in the blower. Tells

Incredibly rude and unhelpful. Couldn't pay me to use this guy for repairs or HVAC servicing - condescending and sexist to boot.
