Family-owned and operated, Twin Air Inc. has been serving our Long Island community since 1987. Founded by Tom Lotito, his sons Chris and Brian now own the company as the second-generation. My wife and I first moved into our home this past April. Due to the layout of the home, we could not put window air conditioners in the common areas of the home (living room, kitchen, dining room). The only places we could put them were in the bedrooms. Obviously this is a problem since we can't pack guests into the bedrooms and we actually want to use our living room during the Summer months. And this past June it was scorching hot. We had actually hoped to hold out until Twin Air could make it in to do the central air installation, but we ended up getting window units temporarily for the bedrooms

My a/c stopped working so I called twin air, who originally replaced/installed the ac/heating system in my house. The technician came and said it was the thermostat so he changed it and charged me $380 for a $40 thermostat. Well, the thermostat wasn’t the problem as 2 hours after he left, the a/c was again not working. I called the office and left messages many times but no one ever got back to me. I ended up calling and paying another company who said it was the compressor. It wasn’t a great experience. Not good customer service at all. Waste of $380 and time. I would never recommend #twinair

Twin Air replaced my air conditioning (handler and condenser) this morning. They were promptly here ready to work at our scheduled 7am time. Both the owners were on site performing the install which was very impressive. They were attentive to lay down floor protectors, left no garbage behind, & put on booties going up and down the stairs. Twin Air was very communicative from the quote all the way down to the install and did a very clean job swapping out the old system and fitting existing components to the new system. After getting a few other quotes, Twin Air was able to offer a more thorough

From start to finish Brian was excellent. Always on time, polite, and very professional. He went above and beyond to explain whole process and always answered questions. The whole crew was clean and prompt. They all carry themselves as truly professionals. I got a whole system both floors and their prices were reasonable. I extremely recommend them and will continue to use then for yearly maintenance.
