Built a home with Vanacore because I thought they were reputable. I have had a terrible experience with this company and would not recommend. They have terrible customer service, do not stand behind their work, add unauthorized costs, do not follow up to fix damage caused by their contractor. Have not completed punch list items from 6 weeks ago. Nothing positive to say about this company.

They start of seeming like a reputable, wonderful, local business. That quickly changes once the check is deposited and they get paid! Worst builder. Rude, unprofessional. Lazy. Once they have your $300,000, or whatever your home costs, they disappear from the face of the earth. Will not correct their errors and when they do, they do a haphazard job of repairing their errors and require weeks to fight with them to fix something that should have been completed properly the first time around. Homes that are under 5 years are having issues similar to that of homes that have been neglected for 20 years

From our initial visit until now (3 weeks until closing), we have been pleased with our process. Our sales agent Ann has been extremely helpful and has walked us through the stressful process of building/buying a home from several states away. She is always available! Everything we have seen in our new home so far has been quality building and done right. Here's hoping the closing and move-in goes smoothly!

We have visited Ormond Beach for more than 30 years, since longtime friends of ours from Brooklyn, NY moved here. A year ago in August my wife, who swore she'd never move to Florida, wanted to look at possible homes around here since we are basically retired. The third development was the charm, the Il Villaggio. We found a Tuscan village for a half-Italian (me) and a "wanna-be" Italian (my wife) that we liked and had a home built here. Very happy with our new Vanacore home. We had to build the home in Florida while living in Arizona. This process was surprisingly easy due to the efforts of the Vanacore staff. This was most important once the move date approached as we were cutting it close. The folks at Vanacore insured that our home was ready for move in. We were very pleased with everything once we arrived! Any issues that cropped up were taken care of to our satisfaction. Thank you Vanacore!
