We needed our fireplace inspected and cleaned before the season, and a rain cap, so we called A 1 Chimney Sweep. They came out earlier than the appointment after calling to see if that worked for us, and did a very thorough cleaning and inspection. The guys were very professional, very clean and treated our property with respect. Highly recommended

This company is an absolute scam! I was quoted $129 for an inspection and $99 for a sweep. They wanted to do $1800 in repairs and charge $500 for a sweep. When we declined and asked for an inspection report and list of repairs and estimates they refused. The technician was rude and forceful. I was charged $140 for an "inspection" and they refuse to provide any details of the inspection. I will be disputing the charge with my bank. STAY FAR AWAY!

This company is absolutely horrible. DO NOT USE!!!! They came out to clean the chimney and I am still getting smoke into my home. I called and spoke to Kay who advised someone would come back out on 1/11 and no one showed up. I called back and she denied having ever spoke to me and she did not make my appointment and abruptly said there was nothing else she can help me with and hung up. I called back and spoke with Courtney and requested to have a supervisor call me, which no one ever did. Safe yourself some time and money, do not use this company EVER!!!

We hired this company to service two of our residential properties. We were told it would be $99 chimney cleaning for each property and $129 inspection. After a great deal of phone tag and miscommunication, when they arrived we were informed it is $499 chimney cleaning each. We declined this service. Then their inspection process is looking up the chimney with a flashlight for about 2 minutes. That was it, pointed a flashlight for 120 seconds. That's $1/second. The 5 star reviews on the bottom of their website is a lie and does not lead to any actual location. If you check Yelp! and The Better

I usually never do bad reviews, however, this company is bad. They are a rip off. The chimney inspection was supposed to be $199 and then an additional $99 for deep cleaning. The inspection for $199 was 5 minutes. There was no inspection other than looking at the inside of the chimney with a flashlight from the inside of the house for maybe 5 minutes. The deep cleaning was maybe 15 minutes long and was double the price that was quoted. When calling this company to speak with the owner there was no return phone call or anyone to speak with. They are a rip off. Do NOT use them. They are horrible
