This company and its owner is a joke. Came to do the estimate and quote a price. I agreed and made half payment with a check. On the work starting day, he sent a third party to do the work. Obviously that guy gives him a higher price than what he quoted me. So he came back and re-quoted me with a double price. I said no and asked for deposit payment returns. Was told that he can only mail it to me with a refund check. I had to call my back to stop payment. It was a really big joke!

This is a terrible company and is not even worth one star. A year after batching my driveway. The permit was never closed.
After multiple failed inspections, they gave up. I am still getting the run around. I'm not sure if they're capable of fixing the issue to close the permit. Stay away from this company. They will cost you more in the long run

Run as fast as you can. I had the worst experience with this company getting my driveway done. They will take your deposit and keep giving you excuses as to why they can't start the project. They tried to blame the city I contacted the city and was told that the permit was denied and that they needed to come down and make changes. They was told this months ago. I signed my contract in June. 2020. I kept calling back and fourth. They refused to give me a refund. They make up all these stories I end up getting another company and start my project within 3 weeks!!

My experience was not good. It should have taken several hours to remove my old driveway but it was seven days before they completely removed the driveway and debris from the entrance of my home. Please look at the photo and you will see the workmanship and materials used by JDP Construction employees at my home. The gap shown in the form is over a foot wide and the form was built using rotting wood from my old wood porch! People having issues may want to refer to Chapter 489 of the Florida Statutes to see the responsibilities of a contractor performing work at your property.
