After working in management for a local furniture company for 5 years, owner James Helms became a partner at E-Z Movers in 1993. In 2004 he became the sole owner of E-Z Movers Inc. to make it the company that it is today.

We originally planned to move as many of the boxes as possible and just hire a mover to move big pieces of furniture. After running back and forth numerous times and feeling stiff and sore for days, we decided maybe we were getting to old to move heavy things ourselves. E-Z Movers had an opening the day after we called.

I had this company scheduled since early July. When I called and booked the Appt I was told "Your all set, no need to call we will see you at 8 Am on the 15th of Aug". Well, I called today anyway to verify anyway since the company has no receipts, no actual quotes on paper or digitally, nothing but a verbal "Ok". Good thing I called because they didn't have me on the schedule, so I am SOL since I close on Monday. They offered no solution for me, accept to move me after I close, and that is not a solution. If you want the job done right use one of the well known companies who have accountability

Absolutely wonderful! They were fast, efficient, friendly, and followed needed COVID distancing as best that can be expected. We had a difficult move out of the old apartment and into the new one. But they handled the King bed and the narrow stairwell like complete professionals. They didn't break, scratch, or dent anything. I highly recommend them.

BEWARE : The crew of three showed up on time and were very efficient. As the day wore on things changed. They wouldn’t come in one of the two driveways because of the trees. They choose the other driveway and used the connecting driveway to get to the entrance that they wanted to use. The only problem was, the electrical wires to the house that were certified to be legal by the electric company for personal property, were low wires. The crew watched and inched their way under and were able to proceed with unloading. Once again the crew worked well, they started to unload items that were to go

After 36 years living in the same home, we decided to move. I hired EZ Movers to move from old to new house in July 2017. Bob, Mike, Steve and Jim were very professional and patient with everything! You can imagine there was a lot of accumulation after 36 years, but they took it in stride, loaded up old house , stopped to pick up some things I had stored on the way to new home, then unpacked and assembled things that had to be disassembled to move, and put each item in the designated room. They made the entire process so much less stressful than I expected, and I highly recommend them!
