Room Concepts is a family owned and operated furniture company that has proudly served the Pittsburgh area for over 60 years. We have two convenient showroom locations serving the Pittsburgh Market; 1 in Whitehall and 1 in Wexford. We started out as a full scale furniture and appliance store called A & D Furniture Co. in Carrick, PA back in 1952.
In addition to our knowledge and quality, our store experience is what sets our furniture stores apart from our competitors. At Room Concepts, we've been providing Custom Furniture without the Custom Prices for over 65 years.
We've continued to expand our Amish furniture options over the years. We think the high demand makes sense since Amish furniture provides the highest degree of craftsmanship and the ultimate opportunity for customization. At Room Concepts, we've invested years in building relationships with local Amish craftsmen who are the most accomplished in their abilities.

I can't say enough about this company and this CONCEPT. My husband and I visited Room Concepts in an effort to find the impossible - a small leather sectional with recliners in our price range. Nathan was a dream sales rep - listening to our every want and need. He offered elegant options while being sensitive to every single request. The quality RC offers is second-to-none, just like the service. Can't wait to return for our next furniture purchase!

Great store. Lots of quality pieces. They have a large range of prices, depending on what you are hoping to spend, and the helpful salespeople can walk you around and show you different options. We bought one of their more reasonably priced couches a year ago. It is comfortable and is holding up very well.

When it comes to quality vs price, quality is always my choice. From the time I entered the store I met with and worked with Nathan who understood my needs for a new dining table and chairs and went over options.
Everything they sell here is natural wood, no veneers, particle board, or whatever. Many of the items are imported from countries like Malaysia but they also have US made Amish wood furniture as well. There is no pressure to buy and you are always guaranteed the lowest possible price excluding sale and clearance merchandise. The highest prices are Amish made followed by a Canadian brand

Just a little disclaimer: I haven't actually bought furniture here YET. However, if you're wondering about their customer service, it's impeccable.
Since most of their sofas (that aren't on the show floor) take up to 8 weeks to be delivered, I ended up not purchasing anything. Even when Cathy knew I wasn't going to purchase anything, she provided me with tons of information on stuff to look for in a good sofa to make my search easier.
I'll be returning in the future when I have the money to spend on high-quality coffee/side tables. They were BEAUTIFUL and I can&apos

If you're looking to redecorate your home, and your budget is unlimited, this is the place to be.
If you find yourself underwhelmed by the multitude of couch/loveseat/chair combos, just ask for their swatch books. Everything they sell comes in at least six colors. And any color you could think of. Even prints.
Everything seemed to be really sturdy, and well crafted. The sales woman, Cathy, told us how everything in the store was either crafted by Amish, or in Canada. She was very helpful, and answered all of my questions quickly, and didn't make me feel pressure at all.

I am so glad I found Room Concepts! I recently moved to the South Hills area and was so disappointed in the poor quality of the furniture and dated styles I found at local stores. Thankfully, Room Concepts came up on one of my Google searches. What a find! A family owned business with wonderful, helpful, knowledgeable sales staff. And what a selection of beautiful, quality furniture. So many options to customize it exactly as you want it. Initially, I bought bedroom furniture and a dinette set. Then I went back for family room furniture (sofa and chairs), and the leather is just scrumptious
