Altenergy installed my solar panels in 2016, and they are still functioning flawlessly five years later. They thoughtfully considered the aesthetics of the solar panels, and chose black to blend in with my roof. Their estimate was clear and complete, and 40% lower than my previous quote 2 years before. They were polite, professional, timely, got the job done quickly, and I have not needed any maintenance--it just works! I enthusiastically recommend them to anyone considering solar PV on an existing roof.

I met this group of men on the river today. I needed a pump for my raft full of my family and they happily helped…. although I could tell they were headed back on the river… they didn’t even hesitate. Sadly the pump fitting did not work in my raft, so a kind few of them even came over to try and work it out for me and in the process let me know that they were hanging out as fun company get away!! We came upon this great group later down the river and I had to ask again what company they worked for so I could write a review!! I know this sounds silly, but WAY TO GO team for truly being outstanding

It was a great experience to work with Altenergy. They did a really detailed economic analysis, and our actual experience in the years since our install has run really close to their estimates. We are able to run net negative on our power usage anywhere from 8 - 10 months of the year, with January and February being the principle "culprits". Whenever we've had a problem with apps or reporting or? Altenergy folks have been very responsive. In addition to being good folks.

They installed my 3.5KW solar system a few years ago. It produces more than I use and now I have a credit for over 3000kw. I have electric everything other than my water heater and back-up gas furnace for my heat pump and also drive around town on electricity with my Prius Prime. My house is about 1800 sq feet and very insulated. I pay $5 a month for the grid connection. Its a great deal.

I couldn't be happier! I'm a skeptic, so I waited to see if my system would meet the production level projected by Altenergy. I was pleasantly surprised. I produced 8.8% more power that they expected! I start my 2nd year of production with a credit with Idaho Power.

Jesse and the Altenergy team are second to none when it comes to customer service, competitive pricing, and standing behind their install 100%. I received 6 quotes from local Boise area installers and Altenergy was the only company that practiced low pressure sales, great communication, excellent technological explanation, and fair pricing through my 3 month selection process. Altenergy is one of the best contractor experiences I have had in a long time. They were very responsive I always felt informed where we were in the project. Every day the workers would clean up the area of work and give me a quick rundown of what was accomplished next steps and gave me the opportunity to ask all sorts of questions (Thanks Chad). Micah was instrumental in keeping all the official stuff inline from proposals permitting and Idaho power net meter requests on service orders. A big plus was the time Micah spent with the final walk through making sure that we were completely satisfied

Altenergy installed our solar panels in 12/17. They did a great job. Jesse Simpson was extremely professional and thorough. He understood both the sales side and the installation side of the job so he could answer all of our questions. The installers were also very professional. Everyone showed up when they said they would which made it easy for us to plan.

Altenergy did our solar installation in December 2017. Micah was great to work with, through the whole process. He was professional, yet friendly. Always took time to answer questions. Explained the steps of getting the solar installed, inspected, and turned on. The installers were great as well. It is good to know that they will continue to be our connection if there are any questions or problems in the future. I highly recommend Altenergy as a solar company.
