The mason crew that did all the tile, coping, the decking, and patio grill was exceptional. I am very pleased with the brick work. The lines are precise and the new brick work blends seamlessly with the existing house. I especially like how they matched the style of the brickwork to the existing house with soldier courses, and corner details they did without even asking.

We shopped around a lot before deciding on Reliant for our pool build. When we asked one pool company why they didn't use travertine on a free form pool, they said because it was hard to create a nice curve with the square travertine material. When we went into the Reliant office, we saw picture of free form pools with travertine and the curves were smooth and flawless. The difference: Reliant used the same craftsman for every job who hand cut the material to create the smooth curves. We are so thrilled with our Reliant pool! It was a priority for us to have a pool with a commercial handicapped lift so that each member of our family could enjoy swimming. Other pool builders did not want to deal with that, but Joel and Elijah didn’t have any problem adding that to the pool design. Joel was very knowledgeable about commercial lifts and figured out how to make it function both with the pool AND the spa, which we didn’t know was even possible! The service and attention to detail at Reliant was outstanding!

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE... just wanted to start with that out of the gate, and I cannot stress this enough. Reliant Pools built us an incredible pool, spa, shower, cabana and fire-pit... on time, on budget, and with minimal hassle. Joel Hefner not only sold us on the project, he designed it, managed it, and enhanced it to levels we still cannot believe.

Our pool is done and it turned out quite nice. I'm still not overly pleased with some of the contractors, however, Elijah and Joel were more than willing to work with me on what the contractors billed me for. I will say, Elijah and Joel are honest guys who are genuinely good to work with. Could the project have been ran better? Yes. But, I do feel they will make any wrongs right, and they have. For that, I thank them.

Highly recommend Reliant Pools (Elijah and Joel), we've just completed a pool build and are very happy with the product delivered. A pool project is a sizable job - requiring design time, permitting, heavy equipment work, a variety of sub contractors, city inspections, interactions between builder and client, etc. It's expensive, an all new experience (since like us most probably haven't built a pool before), and at times a challenge. Called to solicit a visit for a bid and design and after a 30 minute discussion we agreed to meet in the evening at our home. After racing home and changing plans to be there on time for our meeting we got no show, no response to text message and no follow-up. That plus an upfront $250 design fee was an indication that Reliant has enough business and doesn't need ours.

We had met with a couple of pool builders before going with Reliant Pools. Joel and Donny were great to work with and very knowledgeable. Being in the city of Austin, we had frustrations with the permitting process, etc but Reliant knew the ropes and handled it all for us. The team of contractors that work with Reliant are kind, respectful, hardworking and truly the best in their craft. The end result is a very high quality product. We have a dream backyard with a cabana that now makes our backyard actually enjoyable. If you are seeking the next-level pool, Reliant is your company.

We had EJ and Reliant pools install our very high-end pool in 2014. They did an amazing job under very difficult conditions.
The reason I'm writing this review now is to comment on the service after the sale. Any time I have any questions or need reminders on how to work the equipment, or need any help with maintenance issues, Joel responds quickly and pleasantly. He will even respond on week-ends or evenings (he may not want me to say that :)).
I have been very satisfied and would highly recommend Reliant Pools!

It has been two years since we began our relationship with Reliant Pools and we couldn't be happier. Planning was collaborative and Joel kept us informed through the build process. It was great to see him on site for all the most critical activities and then later on ensuring the stone work was done with high quality. Reliant Pools has been great long after the work was done. Joel and Elijah are pool masters. The design phase was all about our pool and not what they wanted to sell. Elijah was patient, creative and by far the best prepared to gather all of the information needed for my first proposal. He worked with us during the entire design process and never pushed us in a direction that was away from our the original thoughts of our dream pool. He made suggestions that were appropriate and was clear when my ask was one that would compromise their desire for quality.

We got a few estimates before we decided to go with Reliant pools.Joel and Donnie came out initially and were very professional. We met with them in the showroom and went over designs. Donnie was very helpful with the design process and they designed a beautiful natural flowing pool that fit our backyard perfectly. Joel was very professional and had great oversight throughout the entire process; he was here nearly every day during the construction phase. When we started our search for a pool contractor we got estimates from several companies. Reliant provided several suggestions which really helped improve our initial ideas on how the pool should be designed. We were able to work with reliant to get an extremely competitive price. Thought the entire construction period Joel was there to answer every question we had. There were no hidden expenses or surprises. Joel went out of his way to ensure we were completely satisfied. I would easily do business with them again!

Joel came out and met with my husband and myself for about 1.5 hours and learned everything that we wanted in a pool. For the entire visit, he only looked at my husband when speaking. Not good. Joel left telling us telling us that he would be in touch within a week with drawings and cost. We never heard from him again! I guess he didn't want 70K.

Extremely impressed with Reliant Pools. We got proposals from four companies before deciding to move forward with them - even though they weren't the lowest bid. Joel is highly knowledgeable and Donny is beyond attentive to customer needs, questions and requests. We're very happy with the final result and it's easy to recommend Reliant to others.

We had a great experience with Reliant. While we almost went with a large builder, talking to Joel convinced us we would get a better quality product with RP and we did. It means a lot to know your project is being supervised by someone that owns the outcome through all phases and cares deeply about the result. Reliant was on site many times all day to supervise and sometimes by 6:30 in the morning. They answered every concern in a timely fashion and I am confident we will continue to work with them in the future. We have already recommended them to several friends and will continue to do so

I had such an amazing experience with Reliant Pools. Everything we completed perfectly in a very timely fashion. I was kept updated along the way and never had to worry about a thing! Joel was my main POC though out the process. He couldn't be better at his job. Would drop anything at any time to resolve an issue. My pool is gorgeous and I would recommend Reliant Pools to ANYONE!!
