I highly recommend this company! Not only did they carefully remove a mulberry tree whose roots were destroying my foundation, threatening the overhead wires, and leaning on the roof, they did it fast, inexpensive and tidy.
When i first called the owner warned me it was right after a big storm and might take a month to get to the tree, which i appreciated. He came by and gave me his quote via text. I didnt even have to be home, which was great. Then, he phoned me about 2 weeks later and said they had an opening. Did i want it!? Yes?
Crew was absolutely artistic in how they took down the tree

If I could give Franklin, Netti and the crew a 10 star review, I would. They just completed their 2nd day on our property pruning 2 enormous, overgrown Modesto ash trees and removing an Italian cypress. We wanted to open up the trees, limb up and thin for fire prevention and promote health of the trees. The side benefit is that it improved our view. They did a beautiful job on both while being considerate to us and to our neighbors. Like magic, they made sure limbs did no damage as they landed. Franklin came out and evaluated the Olive Tree - noticed parts that were diseased and really looked at the tree. The quote was high - however, once we scheduled the service and his crew came out and did the work.....it was worth it. They were on time and they completely trimmed the tree and cleaned up the debris afterwards. They were very thorough and did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend Franklin and his crew for future jobs.

Franklin was working at a house a few doors down on a Saturday. He came over and provided a price within minutes to trim a couple large oak trees. The pricing was extremely fair. A large competitors cost was double. They arrived on time, did exactly what they were hired to do, in fact, I had them trim a couple additional trees while on site. The cleaned up great and they took extreme care not to damage a custom deck that was built around the trees.

Franklin and his crew are ultimate professionals. They are experienced arborists and act in the best interest of their customers. My tree trimming took 1.5 days and the workers were prompt, hard working and responsive to our needs. They ensured protection from falling tree branches and their cleaned up afterward was superb. We had a great experience with Franklin and his crew. Franklin is incredibly knowledgeable about trees. He explained all our options to us with no pressure in deciding. We decided on removing our 2 very overgrown trees and stumps completely removed. They were here at 8:30am and done by 2pm.

Green Lane Tree Service is the best. I contacted Franklin when I needed some wood chips, and he was great about getting back to me quickly and making sure I got exactly what I needed for my yard. Then when they dropped them off, Franklin was careful to not put them directly on my driveway, as he said that they could stain it. He even put down some of his own plastic to prevent this. If this is how he treats customers that he delivers free wood chips to, I can only imagine what great service he provides for the customers he does tree work for. I've dealt with numerous tree services over the years and I'll never hire another again. Franklin, over at Green Lane Tree Service is the most professional and efficient company I have used to date. His free estimate was the near the lowest of his competitors and he delivered the project on time, at cost and his crew left the property spotless. I have since referred him to my neighbor, my mother-in-law and he's done more work at my house since... same consistent result. This is the best tree service company in The Bay Area. Highly recommended!!!!

So I had a guy cut some large branches off of my California pepper tree (I'd used him before and he does a good job, but he didn't have a truck large enough to remove the branches nor did he have a chipper).
So, I jumped on Yelp, saw the good reviews for Green Lane Tree Services, and sent a message through Yelp. I received a reply very quickly, and Franklin arranged to come out the next day to give me an estimate. He showed up on time and his price seemed reasonable so I decided to use him to remove the branches.
He and his guy were able to come back out a couple of days later

I had a small tree fall in my lawn and started getting quotes for its removal. Franklin replied right away on Yelp and showed up the next day for the free estimate. The price was lower than the 3 other quotes I got and since the crew was in the neighborhood they were able to do it the same day. I was amazed at how fast the crew worked. They were all extremely friendly and professional. They took care of the tree in under 30 minutes and my place was left cleaner than when they came. Review for response time/estimate only. Green Lane Tree Service was very fast to respond, came out to our home same day to evaluate a job and provide an estimate. They were willing to work with our budget and also hustle to get us on their schedule the following day for an emergency tree removal. We did not choose them because we felt obligated to give the work to the company who responded first (by only a few hours) however both bids and accommodations for scheduling were equal.

I contacted Mr Ramos for a quote to remove the tree in the front of my property. He was quick to contact me with an estimate. He also made sure I took the proper steps: get a permit and contact 811 b4 you dig. As far as the actual tree removal: They showed up on time and his men were professional and friendly. Franklin responded within hours of my inquiry and came out the next day to provide me with an estimate for trimming and thinning five full grown redwood trees. He provided a fairly competitive price. Once I gave him the go ahead, his crew was out there within a couple of days.
They did an awesome job. The trees look great, and they cleaned up everything. I highly recommend Green Lane Tree Service if you need any tree service. Franklin is very responsive and will take care of you.
