Payne Tile Installation is a tile contractor specializing in residential and commercial construction. We serve Adams, Cumberland, Franklin and York counties of Pennsylvania. Although we also install floors, splashes, fireplace surrounds, exterior installions, etc; Showers are the most important. It's amazing the amount of showers I replace anually due to the lack of skills and knowledge in the industry today.
We started using Schluter Kerdi for shower installations in the late 1990's. Since then we have realized the consistant reliabilty the product provides when installed properly. Schluter never stops improving and expanding their product line. More and more the use of large format tiles are being used on both walls and floors.
With the addition of freestandin tubs it is imperative to acheive flat substrates before tile is installed. Both preparation and layout are crucial to the proper function and appearence of a tile assembly. Steam showers like this one I completed 2 years ago, pose the most unique challenges of all.

We have successfully completed a wide variety of tile projects including products from Schluter Systems such as Ditra Heat, Linear Drains, Kerdi and Schluter profiles. These Bathrooms include features such as Walk in showers with out doors, large open plans with benches, recess niches, body sprays and built in sound systems.
The pictures in the section below are a few examples of tile types and patterns included in the standard price range. This section offers the widest range of porcelains and ceramics with many choices of glazing, texture, size and color. In general, most patterns are running bond or (brick joint) joints offset 30% to 50%.
