Each crew is lead by an experienced craftsman.
Answer: No, you do not have to leave your home. There are certainly spans of time when you can't walk on areas of your floor during the re-finishing process. Most of our customers opt to stay in their home during the re-finishing process, and we are accustomed to making this work as smoothly as possible.

This company was spectacular!
After more than 15 years of our hardwood floor being worn by our family of 10, this company came and refinished them. We did not have them sanded or re-stained, since the floors were "hand-hewn" and have the aged look to begin with. Instead they cleaned and re-polyed our floors. They planned to do a commercial grade finish, since our home has such heavy use. However, they mistakenly put residential grade on the floors. We had original hardwood floors from a home that was built in 1954. When we pulled the carpets out about 15 years ago—we were pleasantly surprised by how good they looked. At that time, we had a big Lab who did some damage to the floors so we waited until he passed. The Lab left drool marks and other marks—of course to be expected with a ~100 pound dog. Well, the time has come—for the floors to be redone. One word—WOW! The guys were great to work with. I was pleasantly surprised at the lack of dirt. I'm not saying there was none—but far, far less than expected. The floors are gorgeous

My estimate was done 4 weeks ago. I received the original estimate a week later and had some questions regarding options we were given for the job. I called, and I emailed without getting a callback. Finally, I got the Bob, the man who gave us the original estimate on his cell phone. I explained that I had sent an email with our questions, and needed an answer ASAP. That was 5 days ago and I still have not heard back from him. It's pretty clear to us that our job isn't important to Caliber. They are very nice, but the customer service is really bad

After our first horrific experience with a contracting company (so bad I didn't review them) we were reluctant with having Caliber come into our home but we can't speak highly enough about this company's work. From start to finish everything was explained thoroughly, work was done timely and the best part, absolutely nothing to clean up! I thought maybe a bit of sanding to clean up somewhere but they left the place squeaky clean. Very affordable, the only thing I found interesting was that they don't take credit cards.
