Bob has been in the construction industry most of his life. He started working for an HVAC company during the summers while in high school. Along the way he went to college, worked in high rise construction, got a refrigeration license while working at a Westchester County ice rink and even drove a Zamboni.

I had Flynn air come to my house to give me a quote on work I needed done to my AC unit. Their representative showed up and took a brief look at the issue and then told me there would be a $99 service fee. I was surprised of the charge since he didn’t do anything, but I paid it. I was then told I would be hearing back from the office with a quote for the work to be done. I contacted the office multiple times for 3 weeks trying to get a quote so that I could give them business. Finally by the time I received the quoteI decided to use another company. If a company takes 3 weeks to give me a simple

They sent a rookie for my first repair call. He could not fix the unit. He ordered parts and then someone else came to install. Second person determined the wrong parts were ordered. He ordered other parts. When he returned to install the next set of parts, this did not solve the issue. They told me unit was no good and needed to trash. I am asking for some level of discount for installing new unit, cover some of the past mistakes. Getting the run around.

Initial call - said we're very busy, I'll get back to you...and after 5-days someone arrived unannounced at our home. He walked from his truck to our outside A/C for an estimate - took a pic - came back with a $99 write-up. After a friendly discussion, he again came back, after a call from his truck, and said there'd be no charge. Today I received an invoice for $99.

I called to have a new ductless AC system installed. The proposal for this job was perfect and within our budget compared to all the other estimates. They also used higher quality Deiken Ac units, which I researched and was so happy that was their go to units to install. Three young men came to install the units for two days. First day was to install the evaporators and condensers and the second was to install the electric. These three men were personable, responsible, timely, respectable of our home and our new puppy. They did a great job installing my split unit. They also found a large sum of cash in my attic while doing install and they were honest enough to return it to me rather than keep it! They are obviously trustable and competent. I would highly recommend this company!!!

I was contacted by Flynn Aire who explained that they had a change in staff and emails weren't being received. They stepped up and fixed everything at not charge and provided a service agreement. The visit went well and we were up and running with no issues. The system works very well and the guys were great.
The consult went well, everything up to the install was great. Honestly the install guys were nice guys. After they were done we found some pretty sloppy work. I called a few times and never got a call back. It's been a year now and. I matter how many emails and

We have been customers for over 10 years. They always give us prompt service. They installed our air conditioner, boiler, and new furnace. Whenever we have had an issue, they have been quick to respond. Prior to installing a new furnace, a pipe froze and burst in our basement. We called after hours on a frigid Friday night and someone came immediately to get us up and running. Owner, Bob Hansen is the best!

We needed to a complete replacement of our entire HVAC System and we contacted several contractors and selected Flynne-Aire for our 2 zone project. I am a Commack resident and lost Cenrtral air one sweltering day. I called Flynn Aire and they came to diagnose the situation.
Within few minutes the mechanic new what the issues were explained it to me and asked for approval before he began his work
The problem was readily fixed. They were professional and expeditious.
I would highly recommend Flynn Aire for both heating and cooling needs.

Worst customer service ever. They were more than happy to install two new central air units and get paid immediately. But since then they have canceled appointments, sent technicians that were unfamiliar with the equipment, sent technicians without the proper equipment to repair the equipment. They promised me first appointment at 8:00, I was then told another customer was more important than me and I'd have to wait.
Buyer beware if you want customer service after your purchase this isn't the place to go,especially if you don't want to be spoken to in a nasty tone by their customer

They did a decent job installing central AC in my home in 2015. Afterwards, my relationship with them took a nosedive. They don't return calls. They cancel appointments either the day before or day of the scheduled work. And they don't offer any apologies. I don't know if this is due to new management, or if I just lucked out with the AC installation in 2015. No matter what, I won't be dealing with them any more.

Bit the bullet and decided to put in CAC in Oct 2016. We must have priced out half a dozen places and Flynn-Aire, while not the least expensive, gave us the most bang for our buck in terms of unit size and efficiency for the price. The rep who visited our home was very accommodating and took the time to help us understand the sizable investment we were making. Installation couldn't have gone smoother and the guys were professional, quick and very clean. Happy to support a local company and very happy with the work. Would highly recommend!

Started central air system in our home and realized there was something wrong. Our "normal" service company since went out of business so we called Flynn Air as a local resource. They said that they had a service person IN THE AREA and could send them over to look at the unit. The service man was in the attic for no more than 10 minutes and said that we needed a new motor for our air handler. He said it would cost approx $700-800 and he wrote up a ticket for the visit. $70 for labor PLUS $99 TRAVEL TIME! My husband questioned this item and the service man said that this would not
