We restore the beauty of your chimney, adding new functional features, while Maintaing the ORIGINAL historic beauty using period correct materials. By our Certified Chimney Sweeps. Your fireplace should be cleaned or inspected once a year to make sure of safety and proper function. Creosote, a highly combustible by-product, can ignite a destructive or life threatening chimney fire.

Unfortunately, I tried to get Ely Stokes to service my gas fireplace four separate occasions from September 2021 to December 2021 and they canceled each of the four instances, three of which I had to call to confirm they were cancelled due to not showing up and no warning they were cancelling. Ultimately went with someone else to service our fireplace. I would not recommend using someone this unreliable to service fireplaces.

Was given great instruction on how to use the gas fireplace and take care of everything. Highly recommend for gas log installation. Also loved the selection - got exactly what we wanted.

We have used other companies in Indy and quite honestly there is no comparison between Ely Stokes and the others. Highly recommended.

John came to install a direct vent gas insert today in our existing masonry firebox. He was on time, quick, and very helpful before he left in showing me how to use the unit, what to expect the first few uses, and some tips on how best to setup the appliance for optimal use in certain temperature conditions. He also did a great job at keeping our carpet and surrounding area clean! I would recommend Ely Stokes if you're thinking about a gas log set or any kind of insert. We got a few quotes, and they even provided us with a few different options. They were definitely competitive in terms of pricing

Had Ely Stokes come out to replace our gas logs. John arrived on time. Removed the old set and installed the new set. Used a drop cloth and wore shoe coverings. Very professional and thorough. Explained what he did and how to use the logs. Looks great and he was done in no time. Everything was cleaned up and it looked like he was never here. Highly recommend this company. They are honest and won’t do any work unless it’s needed. Very professional and trustworthy.

John was a great installer and answered all of our questions. He gets 5 stars and we really like our fireplace. I wish the front office did a better job of communication though. I tried calling 4 times and left a voicemail, and no response back over a week period. I was trying to figure out what was causing the delay in the log set and when did we have our second apt. Overall, I would recommend using ely stokes due to John’s expertise.

Ely Stokes was amazing to work with. Their prices were great, the plumber they recommended to run our gas line was fantastic, and the finished product looks better than I could have imagined.

We decided it was time to convert our home fireplace to a gas burning fireplace. No more chopping wood, or carrying wood and debris through the house to the living room. We visited the Ely Stokes showroom and Felicia helped us pick out the gas insert and the new doors that we also wanted. Since this was an original wood burning fireplace a gas line had to be installed and that went very well. Santoy who did the gas installation was very professional and did a very neat job. He marked the new gas line for the fireplace to make sure it would not be confused for the furnace or for anything else.
