Somebody needs to keep on eye on the drivers. One almost killed on the 22 just because they gonna exit on the wrong street. Plus the driver continued to drive next to like upset truck driver. This company can not be good if it's employees are trying kill themselves and others on the road. Drivers like that will not keep your packages or belongings safe to the destination.

Well, I wish I read the reviews before I arranged our move from California to Indianapolis with Bergen/Allied. It was the worst move we've ever had. Overpriced?-checked!
Damaged items?-checked!
Lost boxes?-checked!
Bad inventory? - checked!
Good customer service? Any attempts to find lost items? - unchecked!

Are they going to do anything to improve their services? - I do not think so...

We used Allied Van Lines to move us from Palmdale, CA to Madison, AL. The actual movers did a fantastic job. The packers were another story. They packed things that they were specifically told not to pack and didn't pack things they should have. They stuffed sweaters into a box like they were rags and then added two artificial flower arrangements with sand in the bottom to the same box. You can imagine the mess when that box was unpacked. I had a small wooden box with some cards inside. The box arrived empty. No idea where the cards are. I had packed some locking plastic bins with

I 10/10 do not recommend using this company for a cross country move. After beginning to unpack I found some very sentimental items to not have arrived. Having packed myself, I knew something was not right so I contacted the claims office. After weeks of waiting they finally deny my claim. This is unacceptable, especially when the missing items are over the liability limit. Including precious items my dead mother had given me. I can not in good conscious recommend this company for anyone moving. I also had some issues with the lack of response and communication from the company. I don't know

We used Bergen/Allied and had a poor experience of missed appointments, lack of professionalism, and damages to our home on loading. On arrival at our new location we are still missing 73 items! Much of our furniture that arrived was damaged and 3 weeks later still missing more than 70 items! Local office GM still has not called back to even apologize. This is certainly the "uncaring/not careful movers to avoid! working with an attorney now and hoping for the best resolution and aide in finding our property.

My friends mother needed to move to Colorado either her sister. My friend also needed to move out of the condo as well. Needless to say, my friend was very distraught thru the whole process and Beverly Hills movies contracted out thru Allied van lines took total advantage of that fact. They stole all her jewelry and 2/3rds of her clothes. Horrible people. Then when she complained, the woman that answered the phone told her that no one would believer her. That it was her word against theirs. Now mind you, mistakes where made on my friends part. She was so distraught that she was loosing her condo

While planning our move from New Orleans to the Los Angeles area, I searched for a moving company and was dismayed to find negative reviews of almost every company. We were referred to Allied by Angie's List, and John Fayard of Gulfport, MS was the nearest local affiliate assigned to our project. Their representative Vic came from Gulfport to survey our house and belongings and provided a quote, and even though the quote was a little higher than one we received from another mover, we decided to take the plunge and signed a contract. On the appointed day Arlando and his fabulous crew arrived

NINE days for my belongings to be delivered, past the contract date! Careless packers and delivery guys, so many of my items that are irreplaceable, sentimental or that I worked hard for are missing or broken! Delivery guys didn't give a damn about my personal items, recklessly throwing items marked fragile or this side up stacked on its side, etc.. 95% of my items I packed very well in bubble wrap etc, yet they charged me $800 over the contract rate for all these boxes they lied and said they used to pack some of my larger items...Unconscionable and deplorable how little Allied and Berger

I'd give them a zero if I could... I moved recently... their female packer stole two money orders (110 dollars)!and the male packer drank two bottles of wine and packed them empty. The driver (while packing he acted a fool about having to pack things the packers left out) refused to put things in their designated place. He waited until my husband had to run an errand to act at a fool. He said his movers couldn't get a bookshelf in the office. While he was yelling at me, the customer his movers put it where it was supposed to go making him look like a fool. He was trying to rush and not

We used Coleman / Allied for our recent move from Texas to California. I 100% would NOT recommend for your move. Our household items were moved with complete lack of care. I watched as the movers STOOD on our TV while packing it up then dragged it across the floor. Three of our wood furniture items were clearly dragged across the floor without proper care and are now severely scratched. Our bar has 3 chunks taken out of the front from improper packing/handling. I think worst of all, 75% of boxes arrived completely crushed with items exploding out of the burst sides. Clearly no respect or regard

Warning, Don't Hire this company, I have moved 5 times, We kind of know the rountine. I have lunch for the crew and a cooler with pop & water to help with there day. This one the was the WORST, an hour late, an angry driver cussing up a storm with dispatch & working his guys to death. None of this move was cheap!! In the photo I paid 35.00 for wrapping up a all natural latex mattress for protection see the pieces that ripped off of it. Paid 835.00 to crate up a pool table & reassemble it, that was joke we had to hire professional to do it right! Buying insurance with this company

Do NOT trust this company! My mom chose Allied Van Lines to move her furniture, clothing, valuables, etc from Guilderland, NY to North Hollywood, CA because she wanted a major company she could trust. Boy was she wrong!!! Most of her items arrived except for her most valuable item - a wooden chest containing a complete set of heirloom sterling silver that was purchased as a wedding gift for my grandmother in the 1930s.
It was repacked at her home in New York, as per the mover's instructions and never arrived in California. One of the boxes was marked #HIGH VALUE# China, Knives, Silverware

No. Just don't. I've never left a bad review before, but these guys deserve it. Broken and lost items plus overcharged by several hundred dollars. I was never reimbursed for any of the damages or losses. Don't support this company.

I am writing a review for my most recent experience with Allied--my move from Boston to Los Angeles. I should have done more thorough research about the company that Allied Moving Services was contracting out to. It was terrible--and Allied would take no responsibility for the bad service that company provided.

I had a wonderful cross-country move the first time I used Allied, so I trusted that they would vet the Boston company handling the first part of my move with the same care. Shout out to Beverly Hills Transfer and Storage, who did a great job with my original move from LA to Boston in

I used Allied 6.5 years ago to move from Denver to New York and had a fine experience, so when we moved from New York to Los Angeles, I figured we would use them again.

This experience was frankly ruined by Allied being an unethical company. They were moving my husband's Ducati motorcycle which he loves and was in perfect condition. When they arrived the driver told me that the motorcycle wasn't properly secured in the truck, which was his fault, and when someone cut him off on the 101 he swerved and the motorcycle fell over. This caused approximately $4k in damage which we got estimated

I put in a request to them for a quote. I got a call later in the day from them and when I picked up there was silence. Finally after a few 'hellos' from me a female voice said hello, then she put on a recording asking me to call them back to get the quote. Why do I have to call you back, we were on the phone all you had to do was talk.

I got another call the next day at 5:11 AM.

The third call from them I picked up and again got a recording telling me to call them back. If you want my business how about NOT robocalling me?? Even better, is both times I picked up they immediately sent

Nope. We used them for an Los Angeles to South Carolina move, and I've regretted it every day since.

The estimate was $1200 lower than the actual cost (almost a third of the estimate!), which they asked me to cover a large chunk of, even though the estimator came to the house and inspected everything we had and I frequently told him that I had a lot of books and heavy items.

The delivery was delayed more than once, and the only way I found out was when I myself called the driver.

We put our stuff in storage for three weeks before we found permanent housing and when we opened the storage

Stay away, indeed! We moved from LA to NY. While their prices were more affordable, as the saying goes... "you get what you pay for." They were unorganized, extremely slow and not very experienced. They packed my daughter's cup that was filled with water which spilled in the box and grew mold. What nonsense is that.

When they disassemble the furniture, like the drawer knobs or the screws, they don't put them in a safe place so they get lost. So now we have drawers with no knobs. Nice.

When they delivered our belongings, some things were damaged, some items didn&apos

The truck didn't arrive within the time frame stated in our contract.

They took apart all of our furniture without approval, including an antique table that should have never been dismantled.

Boxes were crushed and something was spilled all over.

They took the plastic shelving unit out of my trunk to put boxes in it, then lost the shelves.

To top it off, we filed a claim to recover the costs endured due to late shipment and they denied the claim!

What's the point of a contract!!!! Stay far, far away!
