A well-working pool system is essential for an enjoyable experience. We offer free evaluations done by our managers to diagnose any issues and provide a quote for repair. The IntelliFlo pump uses variable speed technology, onboard digital intelligence, and permanent magnet motors to give it many advantages over traditional pumps.
The main filter must be checked on regularly and cleaned about once per month depending on the pressure gauge located on the filter. When the pressure rises about 10 PSI above the clean pressure it is time to backwash or clean the filter. All leaf baskets must be emptied about every two weeks or when full.
The main filter is responsible for removing small particles from the water. The pump circulates water through the filter, and the clean water is returned back to the pool. Approximately every 1-3 months the filter needs to be cleaned to remove particles and debris that have been caught by the filter.
Disinfection is the most important factor in maintaining a safe and healthy swimming pool. Chlorine is the most widely used disinfectant for swimming pools. Without adequate chlorine in the water, it's only a matter of time before algae and bacteria begin to form. One day without chlorine is all it takes for a pool to start turning green.

I just had Splash Pools do an acid wash and tile cleaning on my pool today and I couldn't be happier with the results! They started early this morning after draining it overnight. But they worked hard on it, staying motivated and focused. Miraculously, they got it all clean. It's like a brand new pool now. I'm very impressed! I would not hesitate to use them again. I was struggling trying to keep my pool happy on my own. I could not keep it balanced or algae free to save my life. Every week I was taking water samples in and spending at least $70 on chemicals I had no idea how to properly use. I was beyond frustrated. We hired Splash Pool Service for their chemical services and ever since they took over, my pool has been perfect. The water is beautiful, we haven't had any algae problems. I could not be happier. We made the switch to Splash Pool Service from another company 3 months ago and couldn't be happier about it. Our pool stays chemically balanced. Staff is knowledgeable, friendly and courteous. Today we are canceling our service with Splash because of poor customer service, damage to our pool, and unrelenting algae -- all through no fault of our own as verified by multiple other pool service companies. Like many Tucson residents, we support local family businesses and have been with Splash for years.
