Michael has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. In his early formative years his "hands on" experience included working in every faucet of residential construction including: framing, roofing, concrete work, finished carpentry, drywall installation, grading, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, etc. Michael sees this as a critical phase of his development stating "Before becoming a builder, it's important to master the many components of building.

Since each subcontractor has their own sub-language and unique skill set.A master builder must know the "do's and dont's" of each sub. How else could he perform quality control? After several promotions Michael became the Construction Superintendent of a large multi-million dollar custom builder. Running as many as 40 residential construction sites at one time.
Services
Michael moved to California in 1985 and founded Michael Neff Construction. The market anxiously welcomed Michael's unique style of quality driven construction. Accompanied by old-fashioned Midwestern ethics and integrity, making his business flourish. Building 4 or 5 incredibly unique homes per year (valued at up to $3.4 million), Michael worked in California until 1997 when the pull of family drew him back to his midwestern roots.
