I've been using Orchid House Cleaning for a couple of months. My biggest concern is consistency, and they have been good about showing up on a regular schedule. I'm not normally home when they clean (my doorman gives them my key), but things seem to be done fine, and they show up as scheduled. The owner will translate and convey any concerns I have, and when I have talked to the cleaner, we have managed with a mixture of Spanish and English.
I'm afraid that this doesn't sound enthusiastic, but that's my fault, not theirs. My goal for a cleaner is that things be clean enough, and I don't really notice beyond that. But I am very happy with them so far and have noticed no problems. My roommates and I have tried many MANY cleaning services before I stumbled upon Orchid - from local businesses to companies like Handy and MyClean.

This company basically didn't do half of what they were supposed to do. My single family home was a full gut job and I informed the company of this. It needed a head to toe clean from dust on the walls to new hardwood floors. I paid extra to do the kitchen cabinets and everything. Pretty much the works.
First, one of 2 cleaners came about 15-20 minutes late. Only the first cleaner that arrived came with cleaning supplies and the other had none. They called me after less than 4 hours that they finished my entire home. I was like what?! How is that possible? I arrive and check the home. Did

I feel bad given that my first cleaning through this company was spectacular. However, the last cleaning was absolutely horrendous. Objects not moved to clean under, specific services (clean under sink) paid for, and not completed. Tons of debris left on the floor. Unable to communicate with cleaner (didn't speak English). Will not use again. Beware!

Moved into our new 2br/2ba apartment to find that it hadn't been cleaned after repairs, so everything was covered in a layer of dirt and dust, including inside cabinets etc. Wanted a deep clean and looked around for strong reviews, responsiveness, and quick availability.
OHC was affordable, responsive, and quick. They offered an a la cart cleaning service. Basic cleaning includes standard surfaces etc, then add in the extras you want at a fixed rate (eg inside cabinets, baseboards, etc).
Two cleaners showed up on time. One spoke okay English and the other didn't really speak any. Luckily

Luc and Elizabeth were able to come clean my 3 Bed, 1 Bath apartment at the last minute. They brought their own cleaning supplies, which I appreciated, and were very diligent in cleaning every inch of the apartment. They were respectful of our space, as we were working from home the same time they were cleaning but still did a wonderful job. I can't thank them enough and will be using them in the future!

This place was very responsive and accommodated my last minute request. The scheduling and payment process was very easy. The person who came most recently, Ayd, was amazing! She was so thorough. It felt so great to come back home & be able to save that time. Because she was so amazing, I ended up signing up for her to do biweekly cleanings!

I have worked closely with Penelope over the course of 2 weeks now. She has done an amazing job at managing the cleaning accounts contracted to her and her team. We are a 2 person full time working household so just don't have time to clean. Also we're lazy. Our regular housekeeper had to leave. We tried other services, but it was just never quite as good. The apartment would get clean-ish. Then I tried Orchid and my apartment was spotless again. This is despite having a very messy husband and and extraordinarily furry dog--she legit leaves fur-drifts around. I can't believe she's not bald as much as she sheds. Amazing and friendly service. Back to living the hair-free life we became accustomed to.

I recently discovered Orchid cleaning after losing my regular cleaning lady. I've used them 3x now and they do a really through job Everytime. They even clean some places that I/and other cleaners haven't paid attention to in the past (corners, etc.). I've gotten the extra organizing service once for folding laundry which was a life saver. They wear a mask every time they come too.

Carolina arrived right on time and took care of everything the way anyone would want them done. She was polite, hard-working and communicated well.
She brought a vacuum and all the supplies necessary for the job.
The company was responsive and also easy to communicate with.
They billed me a couple of days later.

They did a phenomenal job. I've really had mixed results with previous cleaning services with most taking the approach of doing whatever they get to in some fixed block of time. Orchid cleaned everything they said they would and did not leave until the house was spotless. I will be using this service from here on out.

I contacted Orchid on a Friday and they came in 9am Tuesday morning to clean my 1250 sq/ft apartment. The two cleaners, Nipcey and Blanca, were fantastic and truly went above and beyond! As this was my first cleaning with them, we did a quick walk through so they could hear my priorities for cleaning (*slight* language barrier but no real issues). They did a great job on everything we discussed and since Orchid doesn't charge by time I see they did an equally fantastic job on things we did not discuss.
The bathrooms, kitchens, bedroom, etc were all spotless. I paid extra for cleaning of the fridge

We booked for a one bedroom cleaning a few days before the actual cleaning, and we were able to get a cleaning on Saturday 10AM. Mary got there around 10:20, but we totally get it -- she was carrying a large cart with all the cleaning supplies (including a vacuum)!
Her cleaning was great. She took around four hours and the place was spotless. She even dusted the cap of all my perfume and lotions in my bedroom. The stove top was cleaned and didn't have any grease left. She cleaned the grout and was able to get rid of all of the black stuff that we were never able to get rid of. We'd love to have

I've been using Orchid House for almost a year now and have been pleased with the service to date. They are easy to communicate with, friendly, and flexible with any scheduling requests/changes. They are also proactive at bringing anything to my attention as necessary, which is helpful as I'm not personally at the property very often.
