Roof replacement is one of the most common services we provide. We offer roof replacement for commercial, residential and industrial applications. We specialize in steep slope and low slope systems. We apply asphalt shingles, designer shingles, modified bitumen systems, tile systems, wood shake, wood shingle, and roof coatings.
The primary culprit in roof deterioration is ultraviolet radiation! Foot traffic, rain, high winds and cold weather are secondary factors in roof fatigue. Regardless of the integrity of your roof's original installation, inadequate solar protection will substantially reduce its service life. Excessive "pounding" 72 hours after rainfall indicates poor drainage.

This is my first 5-star review. Lovett & Lovett Roofing did an excellent job on our building. Most importantly, the roof installation including coverage on our skylights, vents, and the housing around the staircase is high quality (see photos) . Jordan Lovett was very communicative (via email) on pricing and scheduling. The foreman and crew were professional and courteous. Our building has three condo units and all of the occupants spoke highly of the crew. They did a thorough clean-up every night and after the job was completed. Pricing was quite reasonable. Plain and simple - these folks are the best! I can say that with a high level of certainty because I have had roofs done for a couple of houses I owned and also have seen and discussed roofing jobs done for neighbors and friends so I can make some comparisons. So for starters, when I called to get a quote I was impressed by the estimate scheduler's patience in listening to me and sharing with me information about the roofing company. We had Lovett & Lovett come out to repair our main roof last year and then again to replace a smaller roof underneath a deck last week. Both times they did good work, arrived on time, and stuck to their very reasonable quotes. They're easy to communicate with over phone and email and seem very willing to take on both small and large projects. For the smaller deck roof, other roofers weren't even willing to remove and reinstall the deck. Lovett & Lovett made it happen and even managed to squeeze this job in to fit my schedule!

Been using Lovett for a while now, have had nothing but great experiences. Have had them roof a 28 unit building when I was on the board of my condo, saving lots of money over the property manager's quotes. They did my Dads flat roof. Have also had them come out for leaks that they were able to fix while other companies told me I needed a new roof. I don't call for other quotes when it comes to roof work now.

Lovett & Lovett fixed our leaking tile roof over a year ago. They were the 2nd company to come out to our house to repair the same leak. Two rainy seasons later our garage, & crawl space are dry thanks to them finding some really difficult spots where water was intruding in. I highly recommend Jordan & his crew for roofing needs.

Jordon helped patch my neighbor's roof where it joins my house in San Francisco. Jordan came and inspected the job and then a few days later his crew came and did the work, an excellent job.
2 years later we had a leak near the area. I thought for sure it was the roof patch, so Jordan came and tested the area and even used a hose to pinpoint what was wrong. It turns out there was an old gutter below the roof that he found. The gutter's downspout had clogged and the gutter had begun overflowing into the side of my house!
Jordan was very nice about helping me figure out what was wrong

Jordon and his team were amazing, professional, detailed, consistent and above board. My house is around 150 years old and the main roof isn't easily accessible. Jordon's team was able to get up, do the job and deal with a few (annoying) things that occur with an old house. On top of it all, I was hoping to get solar panels installed at the same time and Jordon coordinated directly with our Solar provider to make sure that everything was easy for both teams and that the solar company could install everything under the roof, rather than tear the roof up afterward.

Discouraged, calling for a leak, an appointment was made and a visit given where I was asking if the entire roof needed replacing. I was informed that the roof still has years to go before such is needed.
When I next need a new roof, I'm going to return to this company for an estimate because of this interaction.
If you read a previous, barely up, review by me here of this company please ignore it as it was about a different company that I mistakenly confused with this one.
Try them. They're terrific.

Price, service, job time, everything was perfect! I am a well informed and picky consumer. Having owned my home for nearly 30 years, this is the second time I have purchased a new roof. L&L gave me a quote that was precisely in the middle of a couple other bids I received for my relatively simple roof replacement project. However unlike the other contractors, they were available to come out on very short notice to start work. This was very important to me because my roof was actively leaking at the time.
There was a mild hiccup with the timeliness of the crew on the first day, but calling sorted everything out in minutes. Work was completed as ordered, and a few days later a huge storm blew in. Roof held water tight; doesn't get better than that. It sounds corny but

After contacting multiple roofers, we hired Lovett & Lovett for a full re-coating and fairly extensive repair of the flat roof and parapets on our mid-40's built and more-recently remodeled El Cerrito home.
