Friendly interaction, professional service, and reasonable price. Collins Roofing has been my go-to whenever I have roofing issues. The first roof Seamus worked on for us were beautiful to look at -- you can just tell a lot of care and effort went into it -- and leak-free for 10 years (quite exceptional given it's a flat roof). Seamus recently took on two other projects for us; both lived up to the (high) expectation. We couldn't be happier working with team Seamus and Monica; recommended without hesitation.

We have had three roofing jobs during the 30 years we have living in our 115 year old craftsman. Without question, the best work and service we received was with Collins Roofing. Our latest work involved wind damage and an insurance adjuster who seriously underestimated the cost despite overestimating the amount of work necessary. Michael Collins worked smoothly and communicated thoroughly with the insurance company and us as we navigated the project and payment. The actual repair and replacement was done efficiently, on time, and with great care for our garden and our neighbors. I can not recommend

Couldn't be happier with this experience. We received a fair quote and the crew showed up as scheduled and just got to work. Communication was great and Seamus was very easy to work with. Everyone wore masks and observed COVID protocols. It's a huge relief to know that this job was done right. Highly recommend.

Extremely happy with Collins Roofing. We knew our roof was near replacement time when we first started looking for roofers, then our recent rains made clear that the old roof was not doing its job. Mike Collins came out, carefully explained the condition of the roof, gave us a quote, and then he patiently answered my many, many questions. The references were glowing, as were all the ratings on the various sites I checked. Collins stands by its workmanship, works with a stable crew, not subs, and the owners are on site during the whole job. They were Covid safe, kept our surroundings clean

Every single time it rains, we do a little dance at home -- not really for the much-needed rain, but rather for our new roof. We couldn't be more pleased with the work by Collins Roofing.
I was immediately impressed by Michael Collins when I met him. You know how you just know right away when someone's a good egg? I knew immediately that Michael would be solid in the running for our job, and that it would be a pleasure working with him.

We couldn't have been happier with the service we received from Seamus during a rainy period in January when our roof leak happened! We live under trees and mammoth sized pinecones and damage happens. He was on it quickly and repaired it successfully at the cost estimated. The office was super professional and recommend them highly. We would use them again in a heartbeat if needed for any other repair.

High praise for Seamus Collins and his crew. Seamus is the nicest most pleasant guy to work with. He did little extras too, like while he was up on a ladder he noticed a loose thingamajig that really has nothing to do with the roof, and just fixed it because he knew he could do it easily enough while up there. Lots of little extra touches like that that are most appreciated. The crew was like a well-oiled machine, efficient and friendly. Everyone was masked up through the whole process. Very happy with the repair and the service. Seamus came out and gave us a quote and answered all our questions. They were able to do the work a few days later. Everyone wore a mask and followed social distancing guidelines. Would happily recommend them and if we need work on our roof again in the future we will definitely use them again.

What more can I add to the plethora of five star reviews?! Collins crew installed an entire roof shingle overlay, added vents, cleaned gutters, repaired areas with rodent damage, and installed gorgeous new insulation in our attic. I'm thoroughly impressed by these guys and would hire them again in a heartbeat. Also loved that there was always a Collins on premises and the clean up was meticulous. By the way, I didn't seek other bids as theirs seemed very reasonable.

We happily recommend Collins Roofing - they did a great job on our steep roof, atop a two-story home. We had a complete tear-off down to skip-sheathing, installed plywood, then a roof and new gutters.
Recommended by a personal contact, Collins was the mid-priced bid of the three bids we solicited. We liked the longevity of their company and that they keep their workers year round, building their expertise and teamwork. It is a generous way to run a business.

Collins Roofing did a splendid job giving us a new roof in June. Most contemporary shingle styles wouldn't have looked right with our house and Seamus helped generously with advice and sources until we were set.
He worked with the scaffolding people to ensure that they avoided key plants when setting up. Everyone wore masks on the job when they were anywhere near anyone else, with no attitude about it. Scaffolding set-up took a day, tear-off took a day, installing sheathing and a little roofing took a day, the rest of the new roofing took a day, and then we were basically done. Three

Seamus was very patient before we signed the contract because the roofing needed to coordinate with solar insallation in Berkeley. It was a couple of months in discussion.
Seamus, his brother, and son and the rest of the crew did an excellent job. Organized, efficient, and clean up each day. They did roof repairs and painting where needed. Recommend them highly.
The entire crew wore masks and distanced, which was very much appreciated.

They installed a good roof, in a difficult situation due to roof-mounted radio antennas, although I had to work in cincert with them on that.
However, they ignored or "forgot" my specific instructions for installation of an attic vent. I had taken into account the orientation of the house, the position angle of the sun winter and summer, the prevailing weather and the layout of the interior of the house for the location. So I have a roof vent in a sub-optimal location.

Seamus just came by my house to inspect a leak in my sunroom. He showed up right on time and was very pleasant. It was only minutes before he found the sources of the leak and sealed them...FREE OF CHARGE.
