We earned are health department license twenty years ago and understand the rules and regulations required by San Diego County's department of health.

Robert at 1st American Pools helped me resurrect my dirty pool from the dead. Algae had been growing on the bottom of the pool and he suggested the optimum way to run the filter and pump to clean it and balanced the chemicals. The relatively new variable speed pump is running well ever since he installed it. My control panel was so old I was shocked he was able to do it. Im thinking of upgrading the control panel box and will definitely call him again to do the job. Reasonable rates and a willingness to work with me ( I can be picky and overbearing sometimes) really made me a customer

I am very unhappy with this companies service. My pool was green the whole summer and we couldn't use it. When I explained this to the owner Robert he told me that I needed to buy more chemicals yet I was supposedly on a once a week Chem service. The owner wrote up a contract of weekly service but then reneged and said it was bi-weekly which was not our contractual agreement. Lastly he took my vacuum in to service it and then said it was not reparable, I asked for it back and he claimed he threw it out. He then told me he could rent me one that he had from other people's pools under the

I retained this service to redo my pool, including replacing one row of tile and painting the pool. The cost was close to $4,000.00. The "owner" said he could not guarantee the paint would last indefinitely, but it should last for quite a while since the pool had not been redone for several years it would certainly look better than it did--Not so! Well, he finished in record time and the job looked OK, my son was not happy with it from the beginning. It looked a little sloppy around the tile work. It lasted approximately 2 months before the stairs started chipping off. I let that
