I love TrapSun and let me tell you why... every company we talked to told us that they don't do solar on Spanish clay tiles, unless we were willing to pay an extra 8K to re-roof with shingles...no freaking way!
Mike was very upfront, he said he would do solar on our roof, created a great game plan and got everything submitted and approved with SDGE and the City. They did break over 100 tiles but he replaced them all.
He really went over and beyond NOT TO mention his bid came in at a lower price than everyone else... just so you know we installed 20 LG360-A5 Panels to achieve a 7200KW system.

Trapsun did a fine job in the design and installation of our 22-panel system in Rancho Penasquitos (with concrete-tile roof). Mike clearly explained the technical options and completed the design and pulled the City permit in just a couple days, while Fernando (experienced roofer, careful, conscientious) and his assistant completed the job in just three work days[!] after signing the contract, all for a very fair price. Given the high temperatures this summer and the ridiculously-high SDGE rates, we are very happy customers! We recommend Trapsun without reservation for either Solar PV, or solar

Mike and his crew were on top of the entire process. I had a lot of concerns regarding installing solar: Lots of overcast days where I live, concerns of the looks of it, concerns over future plans for pool solar, shading form neighbor's monster sized trees, etc... Mike was patient and worked through all the aspects of my concerns, optimizing the install to best address all of the concerns, including the use of micro-inverters to best safeguard against shading risks. Mike Utomi installed our system quickly and reliably. He is very easy to talk to, knowledgable and makes you at ease. Mike offers a very competitive price as well. I had been considering going soloar for a few years and spent the time and energy getting multiple quotes. After reading an article about how the price of solar is dropping I decided to get updated quotes from some of the companies that previously provided qoutes.
